3 weeks later
General POV
Everyone showed up at work on time, except for Hailey, she showed up a little bit late, but no one really cared, or if they did they didn't say anything because they didn't have a case.
It was now 9 30 am
Voight walked out of his office "Alright we caught a case, 2874 Anzio drive, neighbour's called it in heard a scream and then a loud thud, patrol is on scene let's go"
Everyone grabbed their vests, and subconsciously checked their waistline for their badge and gun.
They piled into the car and sped off.
Jay's POV
"So, what are you bringing for the games tonight" I asked
"I'm making spanakopita"
"You're making what now" I asked smirking at her
"It's a spinach and feta pie, it sounds gross but for whatever reason it really good" she said laughing
We arrived at the scene
"Sir Sir you can't come in here" a patrol officer said when I tried to go under the tape
That's interesting I thought, normally they recognize Voight, and they know we were coming
I shrugged it off, and showed him my badge
"Detective Halstead Intelligence"
The patrolmen apologized and began telling us what they knew so far.
We called forensics, and left the house after clearing it.
5 mins later over the radio
"Dispatch this is Detective Upton, Intelligence, update this murder to, a murder and a possible abduction"
"Copy" said disbatch
Haileys POV
I walked outside and almost ran into Voight, as he came around a corner.
"What the hell did you find" he asked visibly upset, because I called it in without telling him
"Patrol claimed it was just a guest bedroom, but I'm pretty sure those don't normally have teenage girls clothes in the closet and blood on the sheets" I said
"Alright, good work, get forensics to test that blood and tell us when they get a result" Voight said
We finished up searching the house and, headed back to the district to start some paperwork.
2 hours later
General POV
"Sarge, I just got a call from Forensics, the blood came back from a Emma Jones 14 year old girl, attends stonebrook Middle School." Kevin said
as soon as he said her name Hailey walked quickly towards the locker room with her phone to her ear.
"What the hells she doing" Voight said
The others shrugged, and Voight followed after her.
As he turned the corner he heard her yell "answer the gosh dang phone come on Emma!!" Before slamming her hand into a locker.
"Hailey whats going on? How do you know her?" Voight said
"You know when the middle school called and asked for me? This is the kid they called about. I went and talked to her, I thought I had everything worked out" she said holding back tears
"She said she'd call me if anything happened"
"Ok, pull yourself together, and come back, we're gonna start working the case." He said before walking out
Back in the bullpen they were all looking for leads and it was dead silent, when Kim ended that by saying "Guys I got something POD footage shows our vehicle heading toward east main street"
"Let's go!! That's right by the train station!" Voight yelled
Everyone ran and got in their cars, putting on their vests as they drove
"Atwater, Ruzek check the outside the rest of you pair up and spread put"
Haileys POV
Me and Jay were walking and about to turn around when a shrill scream filled the air. We both started running toward it and pulled out our guns, radioing the team as we saw the cause of the scream
A man had a young woman in a headlock with a gun pointed to her head
I'm not sure why but the face of the girl looked very familiar, but I just can't place it
"Sir, I need you to let her go and drop your weapon" I said loudly
He started looking around frantically as he noticed the rest of the team encircling him
"Drop it or we drop you" Voight said
"Do it, then shoot me! I know you wont because of the possibility that you might hit her" he said in a snarky tone
"You've got about 10 seconds drop the gun" I yelled
I heard the subway approaching Shit Shit Shit
Unfortunately so did he
He started moving towards the edge
But Somehow Adam had snuck up behind him, and grabbed his arm forcing him to let her go, she ran and Kim caught her and starting talking to her probably trying to calm her down
But now Adam was in danger especially with the train approaching.
End of Haileys POV
"Adam!' Kim screamed
