SAVANNAH SCOTT says sorry to her ex

With the release of Scott's new album, fans have been questioning who the songs are written about. While we couldn't get specific names, she did confirm a few of them were written about exes, or rather a singular ex.
"Most of the songs on this album are written about the same guy. Kind of pathetic I know but it was really my first real relationship." Says Scott, when asked about the inspiration for the album. "I did write a lot of love songs about him, but the only one that made it on the album was till forever falls apart, which Luke sounds amazing on."
The breakup songs were a shocking change from her first album. The album Heaven was filled with upbeat love songs, featuring tracks like Must Be Love and King of my heart.
"No, those were actually written about my best friend Logan." Scott says when asked about the tracks don't let it break your heart and if i could fly.
"if i could fly was written one of the times when he was away in some far off country. It's just really about out friendship." Scott explains further about the twelfth track of the album.
Scott then shares the story of the second track, don't let it break your heart. "when my ex and I first broke it off, I had called Logan and he said something along the lines of 'don't let it break your heart' and it really just inspired me to write the song."
The idea of Scott writing a song about her friend doesn't come as a shock to her die-hard fan base. Many of them know of the long connection the two of them have, being friends since early childhood.
This isn't the first time Scott has written about Logan either. Her first album featured the track invisible string, which she's previously revealed to be about the racing driver.
"the name of the album really just came to me spontaneously. Well, not entirely but I was on the phone with my sister, Shannon, and she said something totally left field and then was like 'sorry'. And then it just stuck." Shares Scott, in regards to the source of the album's name.
"It's such a sad album, but I think it reflects entirely how I was feeling after that breakup."
