I need to read more Wangxian/yizhan fanfictions to cheer up as I am feeling a bit down today as we got some news. But anyways here is the next chapter!
Hua Ying, now a spirited and curious 12-year-old, had grown up surrounded by love and warmth in the company of his parents, Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. It was a special day for him as he was about to receive his very own sword and spiritual butterfly, a rite of passage for young cultivators.
In the serene gardens of Paradise Manor, Hua Cheng and Xie Lian stood before their son, a glimmer of pride in their eyes. Hua Ying's excitement was palpable, his heart pounding with anticipation.
"Baba, A-die, I can't believe I'm finally getting my own sword and spiritual butterfly!" Hua Ying exclaimed, his eyes shining with delight.
Xie Lian smiled warmly at his son, patting his head affectionately. "Yes, you've grown into a fine young cultivator, Hua Ying. It's time for you to have your own tools to aid you on your journey."
Hua Cheng's crimson eyes softened as he looked at his son. "The spiritual butterfly, or Deadly Wrath Butterfly, is a powerful companion for cultivators. It will protect you and assist you in your battles."
Hua Ying nodded eagerly, his heart pounding with anticipation. "I can't wait to see it, A-die!"
"Are you ready, Hua Ying?" Xie Lian asked, a warm smile on his face as he presented the sword to his son.
Hua Ying nodded eagerly, reaching out to take the sword from his baba's hands. It was a beautiful sword, its hilt adorned with intricate carvings, and the blade gleamed in the sunlight. It felt light yet sturdy in his hands, and Hua Ying knew that this sword was meant for great things.
"Thank you, Baba!" Hua Ying exclaimed, his heart brimming with joy and pride.
Xie Lian ruffled Hua Ying's hair affectionately. "You're welcome, my little prince. This sword is a symbol of your strength and determination. Use it wisely and with a kind heart."
"I will, Baba. I promise," Hua Ying replied, his eyes shining with determination.
As he held the sword, Hua Ying couldn't help but think about what to name it. A sword deserved a powerful and meaningful name, one that would reflect its true essence.
"Can I name it now, Baba?" Hua Ying asked, looking up at Xie Lian with excitement.
"Of course, my dear," Xie Lian said, encouraging Hua Ying to go ahead.
Hua Ying held the sword in his hands, marveling at its craftsmanship. "It's so beautiful, Baba! Thank you!"
Xie Lian chuckled. "Now, it's time to name your sword. A cultivator's bond with their sword is a special one. Choose a name that feels right to you."
Hua Ying's eyes sparkled with excitement as he thought for a moment. "I've got it!" Hua Ying exclaimed, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I'll name it Suibian!"
"Suibian?" Xie Lian repeated, a chuckle escaping his lips. "And what does that mean, my little one?" Xie Lian raised an eyebrow, amused by his son's choice. "That's an interesting name. Why did you choose it?"
Hua Ying grinned mischievously. "Because I want my enemies to say, 'What did he just do?' when I defeat them with my sword! It means 'whatever' in the mortal realm language," Hua Ying explained, a grin spreading across his face. "Because this sword can be whatever I want it to be, just like me! I want to name it 'Suibian'!
Xie Lian and Hua Cheng exchanged amused glances, unable to suppress their laughter. "Suibian it is, then," Xie Lian said, ruffling Hua Ying's hair.
Hua Ying beamed with pride, happy that his baba approved of his chosen name. He felt a strong connection to his new sword, knowing that it would be his companion and ally in all his future adventures.
With the sword named, it was time for Hua Cheng to present the spiritual butterfly to his son. He reached into his own robes and pulled out a small golden cocoon. As he held it in his hand, it began to glow with a soft, radiant light.
"Here is your Deadly Wrath Butterfly, Hua Ying," Hua Cheng said, his voice filled with pride. "It's a powerful spiritual companion that will grow and evolve as you do."
"They're beautiful, A-die!" Hua Ying exclaimed, his eyes wide with awe.
Hua Cheng smiled fondly at his son. "These butterflies are a reflection of your strength and potential. They will be your companions in battle, guiding you and protecting you."
Hua Ying held out his hand, and the cocoon gently opened, revealing a stunning golden butterfly with shimmering wings. Its brilliance was mesmerizing, and Hua Ying couldn't help but gasp in awe.
"It's beautiful, A-die! Thank you!" Hua Ying exclaimed, his heart swelling with joy.
Hua Cheng smiled, his eyes shining with love. "Take good care of it, my son. The bond between a cultivator and their spiritual companion is a precious one."
As Hua Ying reached out to touch one of the butterflies, something incredible happened. The silver butterfly transformed before his eyes, its wings turning a radiant shade of gold.
"A-die, look!" Hua Ying cried, marveling at the transformation.
Hua Cheng chuckled. "It seems that your butterflies have taken a liking to you, Ying'er. They've chosen to be by your side, just as you have chosen your sword."
Hua Ying's heart swelled with pride and joy. He knew that these butterflies would be an essential part of his journey, just like his sword. With Suibian and the Deathly Spirit Butterflies at his side, he felt invincible.
As the day drew to a close, Hua Ying knew that this would be a memory he would treasure forever. With the love and support of his baba and a-die, and the newfound companionship of his sword and butterflies, he was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, knowing that he was not alone in his journey.
He felt a sense of responsibility and determination welling up inside him, knowing that he would cherish his sword and butterfly and use them to protect those he cared for.
From that day on, Hua Ying trained diligently, honing his skills with Suibian and learning to communicate with his Deadly Wrath Butterfly.
