"Gotta go! It's seven." Harleen gazed at Daksh's text sulking. In the cold winter nights of December, Harleen never understood how this guy would stargaze every day all alone up on his terrace with the cold chilly breeze kissing his face.

"You love stargazing a lot!" She had texted back, with a frown etched on her face. She didn't want him to leave her and gaze at those stupid stars in a middle of an interesting conversation.

"A LOT. But, if you're gonna miss me, I can stay you know! ;)" His silly text had made her lips grow wide staring at her screen.

"HAHA NICE JOKE. I'd rather enjoy the moment of peace. :)" Feigning arrogance in her message, she looked back at the screen to see those three dots going up and down, confusing her as to what exactly was he expunging repeatedly.

"Alright enjoy, darling! My stars are calling me. ;)" Harleen stared at the text for a second with a bemused gaze, trying to comprehend why did he not fight with her this time around. Was he getting tired of her hard shell? Perhaps, she should lower her extent of messing with him.

"Have fun! And gaze at stars not brighter than me!" Hastily typing the text so that he reads it before going, she stared at the screen to mark it as seen.

Seen.

"Sure! XD" Came his reply. Alright, he wasn't well.

"Are you alright?" She texted hurriedly running her fingers over the screen.

"Yepp, Harleen! And I gotta go, now! Byeeee! Miss me!" Receiving his pretentious text, she sat back in her bed, sighing heavily. He wasn't gonna tell her. Perhaps, not the right time to try.

"Yeah gonna miss you loads! Byee!"

Not seen.

"I'm sorry it's a bit messy, the rain and the storm broke these two flower pots. Don't mind it." Harleen turned to face Daksh who looked at her sheepishly while setting the pillows over the mattresses they had laid together to make a nice comfortable seat while they gazed at the sky above.

"At my home, it's even worse. The whole terrace is dirty with the dust!" She replied setting the mugs filled with tea on the floor beside their arrangement.

"Oh. Guess it's the same everywhere." Looking at her in the moonlight glow, Daksh reluctantly settled beside her keeping a safe distance between them, making sure to not make her feel uncomfortable.

"Do you still stargaze religiously?" Harleen asked with her eyes fixed on the twinkling sky. Taking a sip from his cup of tea, Daksh turned to look at her inhaling a deep breath.

"Not anymore."

"Did you really use to stargaze back in the past?" Taken aback by her question accompanied by her inquisitive gaze, he exhaled exasperatedly. Why was it so easy for her to read him?
