They arrived back at their childhood home, which they had both now left. Only their parents reside there now.

Miwa pulled into the driveway, and the two got out of the car with their bags since Miwa went straight to pick Kageyama up before coming to their current destination.

They entered the house and were greeted by their parents. They each hugged their mother, Miwa hugged their father, and Kageyama got a pat on the back.

"Oh, my babies are back," their mother said.

The two brought their bags up to their respective rooms before returning downstairs for lunch. The table was set neatly, with food set out.

Everyone took their respective seats. The same seats that they have always taken every day at each meal It felt nice to be back in the routine of being at home.

They began eating and talking about things that had occurred since they had seen each other last.

"How's my boy doing in college?" Kageyama's father asked him.

"Good, I made the volleyball team," Kageyama said before taking another bite of his food.

"That's my boy," his father replied.

Meanwhile, the women at the end of the table were having another discussion.

"Have you found a nice husband yet?" their mother asked Miwa.

She laughed and replied,No, mom, I don't need one."

"Oh, but I want grandkids."

"What about Tobio? I think he has a girlfriend," Miwa said, shifting the topic away from herself.

"You have a girlfriend?" his father asked.

"No," Kageyama replied.

"When will we meet this wonderful lady?" his mother asked.

"Umm, I don't know," Kageyama said before shoving a fork full of food in his mouth.

The dinner conversation shifted to something else. Everyone finished eating, and Kageyama went up to his room.

He opened his phone and saw a long chain of text messages from Hinata.

"Tch, dumbass," Kageyama smiled.

Why won't you respond?
Talk to me.

What do you want, dumbass?

Kageyama then received a call from Hinata; he rolled his eyes and answered the phone.

"Hello?" he said.

"Hey," Hinata replied.

"What do you want?"

"To talk, I haven't seen you in like three years," Hinata replied.

"It's only been 4 hours," Kageyama said, looking at the time.

He smiled a bit and rolled onto his back, holding the phone up to his ear still, listening to Hinata talk about anything and everything.

"What's your family like?" Hinata randomly asked.

"Why do you want to know?" Kageyama replied.

"I want to be prepared to meet them."

"No, fair; I didn't get any preparations to meet your mother," Kageyama grumbled.

"Well, she loved you anyway."

"Fine, my mother is a relatively nice woman, but she is strict when she needs to be. She is also always on me and my sister about being single. My father, on the other hand, is all about being masculine and stuff like that; he doesn't really care what me and my sister do."

"What about your sister?" Hinata pushed.

"No, you already reached your limit," Kageyama said.

They continued to talk for a little more before it began to get late, and Hinata was getting tired. They said their goodbyes to each other at around 10 o'clock. Kageyama placed his phone on his nightstand and pulled the covers up to his chest. He closed his eyes and waited until sleep took over.
