ARIZONA POV
My little sister Kaylor was in town for a few of our games but today was our off day so I decided to stay in the house with her.
"Where's this so called boyfriend anyway?" She asks
"He's out golfing with some of the guys. Also he's not so called he's very much my boyfriend." I say in a duh tone
"Did he ride with someone else?" She asks
"Yeah, they all rode together." I say
"Wait I saw this girl on TikTok do this while I was in the airport. What if you call him and pretend like you're crying and say that you drove his car to come pick me up and you crashed it." She says getting excited about her idea
"No because that's actually a really good idea." I say, grabbing my phone of the night stand and clicking on Ruts number, waiting as it rings.
"Hey AJ it's Luke" Luke says answering the phone
"Can- can you get Rut?" I ask fake crying
"Yeah yeah hold on." Luke says getting Rutger and handing the phone to him
"Hello?" Rutger says
"Babe.." I say before pretending to break down a bit
"What's wrong?" Rut says already worried
"I took your car to go pick up Kay and some hit it" I say
"You took my car to pick up Kay and someone hit it?" He says trying to make sure that he heard me right
"Yeah" I say
"Was it their fault? Are you hurt? Is it totaled"
"It was their fault, I was at a stop light and they rear ended it. I'm ok. I feel bad though." I say
"Hey, it's ok. Did you get their insurance?" He says
"Yes, I got everything." I say
"Ok, it's ok do you want me to come back to the house?" He says
I decide to finally break the act
"Your so sweet. Baby I'm lying to you." I say laughing
"She was lying" Rutger says to Luke who was worried
"Well that's how you ruin a golf round sweetheart." He says laughing
"I know I'm sorry! To be fair it was Kay's idea" I say while Kaylor literally falls off the bed from laughing so hard
"It's ok honey, we'll be back in about 30 ok?"
"Ok! Love you byeeeee" I say
He says the same before I hang up
"Is he Canadian!?" Kaylor says from the floor as soon as I hang up
"Yes Kay he's Canadian now get off the floor." I say
"I approve, he so nice to you." She says
"Glad to know you approve of my choice." I say

"Honey I'm homeeee" Rutger says opening the bedroom door. He plops down on the bed and pulls me into a hug
"Is Kay still out there?" I ask "Never mind then" I say after I head her banging on the door yelling at me to let her in.
"Baby I think you need to let her back in." Rutger says laughing
"But she called me a weirdo" I say fake pouting
"If you let her in I'll take you to Chick Fil A. How about that." Rutger says letting me pull out of the hug
"Fineeeee" I say dragging out e before getting up to go unlock the door. Kay falling on the floor and I burst out laughing before laying on the floor with her from laughing so hard.
