I still love you.. i promise

Millas POV

I woke up earlier than usual, I had planned a beach date with will and owen and I , I wanted to get an early start to our day to not waste a second of will being here with us,

I walked downstairs after checking that all the kiddos were still asleep and saw scarlet just getting home from what I'm assuming was the gym, she smiled at me and said " hey sweetheart, how did you sleep??" I walked over to were she was and served myself a cup of coffee and then said " I slept very well, you want some coffee??" She nodded and said " when do I not want coffee?" I giggled and served her coffee and passed it too her across the kitchen counter.

After helping her make breakfast for all the kids I went upstairs and pulled on a cute cover up over my swimsuit and started packing owens bag with this I would take with us too the beach, like an extra blanket, a sweatshirt, and a couple of his beach toys I know he loves. After that I walked downstairs to see the kiddos all digging into there breakfast hoping that Owen would eat a good breakfast so he wouldn't be so fussy on the Car ride to the beach considering it's like an hour or so long from our home.

Scarlets POV

When milla walked down the stairs is when things really started to click into place, she's my Daughter and no matter how far apart we are she will always be my girl, but now my little girl isn't so little anymore, and while it saddens me too see her grow up I'm just so grateful that I get to be here to watch this special moment in her life as she also becomes a mother.

Time skip*
No one's POV

As milla and will headed to the beach they both engaged in light conversation as the young boy in the back seat was taking a long overdue Power Nap before getting to the beach as he would most likely skip his regular nap time.

Once the small family got to the beach they all started to unload the stuff in the truck, milla positioning the little boy on her hip as she also carried the bags of food and toys.

Once they set up their small area where they would be sitting milla pulled off her cover up and put sunscreen on the little boy who whined and moved away from the white gunk that his mother was trying to put on his face, milla than said " Owen you need to wear sunscreen, or else you'll be all red like uncle Colin" the young boy then allowed his mama to put sunscreen on his as he remembered how weird his uncle Colin looked with skin just as red as the lobster they had at a restaurant one time. After that they all ran into the water, which was considerably warm for the time of day as the sun wasn't as prominent as it is in the early afternoon,

The little group spent there entire afternoon just soaking in the sunshine and family time they had together, as the days started to end and the young boy was winding down they ended their day with the little boy laying across milla and over while they looked at the beautiful sunset in front of them.

Milla broke the silence by saying " thank you for today will.. this is as happy as I've seen Owen for a while, while at least since we moved here"  will shook his head and said " don't thank me.. you guys are my top priorities,I wanna see you both happy and content" he started to move closer to Millas face and milla felt a sudden flutter in her stomach as she felt the same as she had many years ago when she was still a giddy teenager, she broke the silence by saying " we shouldn't do this... you have a girlfriend to come home too, you love her you don't love me.." will places a firm yet soft hand on her left cheek and said " tell me you don't want this and I will stop no judgment.." milla whispered " we can't..." will said " that's not what I asked." He leaned closer as did milla and they both shared a soft yet passionate kiss, not the same kiss they had once shared as giddy teens, they broke apart and will smiled at milla and placed a firm kiss on the crown of her head as he got up and started to pack up the car to start the drive back home ..

Back at home*

Once they were home and milla had brought everything back inside including putting the young boy back to bed, she walked over to will and he wrapped his arms loosely around her waist as she wrapped them around his neck and they shared a sweet kiss, once they broke apart milla laid her head on his chest and said " promise me you still love me.. even if I am pregnant with a baby and have a son.." he looked down into her fearful gaze and kissed her softy before saying " I still love you.. I promise " In that moment milla felt like everything in her life had just clicked into place, she wasn't scared of love anymore, and she knew that will meant every word he said, which reassured her that they would be okay. Everything would be okay.
