Getting out the Uber, Leah and I arrive at Pedri's new home. Leah was wearing leather pants and a baby tee while I was wearing low rise jeans and a sweater top, as I underestimated how hot Spain really is at night.
"Hello" Pedri answers the door with a big smile as he graciously accepts the bottle of red wine we brought over. "Everyone is in the living room if you guys want to head in" signaling us to follow him
The house was not to big but not small it was definitely hella expensive though. It was right in the middle of Barcelona and the outside matched the inside with a modern look and open layout.
"Nice to see you again Jade" Ferran says while embracing me with a big hug
A blonde young man quickly comes into the equation with a girl not much shorter then him by his side. "Hello sorry to intercept but I just wanted to quickly introduce myself, I saw you yesterday and did get the chance to say hi. My name is Frankie" he annoyed while putting his one of his hand ps on Ferran shoulders
"And I'm Mikky, his fiancé." The blonde girl says as she steps in front of Frankie "it always nice to see another woman around the group" she adds with pure excitement in her face
And to be honest she was right. I noticed when I walked in that 95% percent of the people in the house are guys and the other 5% are just their significant others

For the past two hours I have been introduced to basically half of the Barcelona team like Blade, Ansu, and kounde. All of them were super nice but SUPER young. I don't if it just a Barcelona thing, but they like to produce them young. Is it common for soccer players to retire young or something?
I talked to Leah not that much of the past two hours as she has been constantly yelling at the screen while playing fifa with Gavi and Blade. I have been spending most of the night talking with Mikky and a nice women named Anna who says her husband lewwy places for Barcelona too.

"Babe it's time to go home" I say signaling for her arms to hold onto my body
She just lost a game to Gavi and knocked down her champagne glass spilling it all over her clothes
"NO ONE MORE GAME I NEED TO WIN" Leah says hitting the Xbox controller on her head
"Leah your drunk, let's have a rematch another day when your feeling better" Gavi says trying to help me out
"What are you talking about I'm fine" Leah adds while standing up hitting her knee on the coffee table wincing in pain
"Come on" Gavi utters as he helps her stand up straight throwing her arm over her shoulder
Finding Pedri on the way out I quickly thank him for the invite, him responding with a ride home, to which I reject
Gavi helps me take Leah outside to the Uber as he gently sets her on the seat
"Goodnight Gavi, and thank you so much for the help, it means a lot" I quietly say as my checks flush from the red wine I had
"It's no problem, really" he responds, shrugging "are you sure you don't me to ride in the Uber home with you guys for safety"
"No you have already done enough" I command hoping in the Uber
"Jade" Gavi voices while holding the car door
"Yes" I respond looking back up at him in the eyes
"I hope to see you again soon"
And before I can respond he had shut the door, already walking back into Pedri's house
