Isabelle had stayed the night at her mom's house that night since she didn't want to be alone, she got up for school but he didn't want to so she had to call Scott for backup. Liam had tried to fake being sick in return which they debunked since Isabelle had stayed the night meaning she would be sick too.

"No, I'm... I'm sick. I'm sick," Liam claimed as he covered back up

"You're not sick," Scott stated to the beta

"Yeah, I'm like deathly ill and It's serious, I think it's the flu," Liam remarked making Isabelle chuckle

"It's not flu season," Scott stated in return

"Uh, then I probably have pneumonia," Liam countered before Isabelle sighed

"Liam, you're a werewolf which means you can't get pneumonia," Isabelle debunked looking at her brother

"But you know what you can get is in trouble for being late to school so come on, let's go," Scott directed as Liam uncovered

"I don't think I should go to school. Or outside. Or anywhere. Ever again," Liam stated to the two

"It doesn't matter what you think, okay? Because you gotta go, now all you do is pretend as if nothing happened," Scott directed the boy

"Pretend? I'm just supposed to pretend?" Liam questioned as he narrowed his eyes

"Think of it like when Superman gets caught with his glasses off, you know, he doesn't give up. He puts them back on and says, "I'm still Clark Kent," Scott told him making Isabelle nod her head in agreement

"You want me to wear glasses?" Liam questioned the two

"No! we want you to go to school, okay? Go be Liam Dunbar just like how Superman has to be Clark Kent, like Spider-Man, and Captain America..." Isabelle started to explain

"Captain America is just Steve Rogers. He doesn't have to pretend because everyone already loves him unlike us, who everyone hates. They hate us for trying to save their lives," Liam fought making her nod

"You're right, we are trying to save lives. Which is why you're gonna get up and go to school and pretend like nothing happened because if you don't more people could die," Scott added looking at him

"Because of me," Liam mumbled under his breath

"I didn't know Brett or Lori. Well, not like you did but I know you, and if you're afraid of seeing more of your friends die, you'll go," Scott spoke before Liam finally got up

Liam got dressed and Scott left making Liam look at his sister who was sitting on his bed, she looked up at him with knowing eyes. She pushed him to the bathroom to brush his teeth as she did hers. They had figured out who the other hunter was causing Isabelle and Lydia to pay a visit.

"Sorry, I must be in the wrong place, someone said, Ms. Martin was looking for me," Monroe spoke as she walked in

"Oh, it's the right place, wrong Ms. Martin," Lydia spoke as she looked at the girl

"I know who you are, Lydia so, what am I here to talk to you about?" Monroe questions in an annoyed tone

"Coexistence," Lydia stated as she came closer

"Coexistence?" Monroe questioned before Isabelle nodded her head

"For people like you and people like us," Isabelle added making Monroe look at her

That's a bit of a challenge especially, considering people like you aren't quite the same as people like me," Monroe stated in a tone

"That's usually where coexistence breaks down when we highlight our differences," Lydia stated stepping in front of Addison

"What is it you really want, Lydia?" Monroe questioned the girl

"We want a peace summit I mean we asked Gerard and he refused," Lydia stated making Isabelle tilt her head

"Then you got your answer," Monroe stated before Lydia hummed

"Which is why I'm asking you to convince him to meet, what if you're the only one that can stop this?" Lydia questioned with narrow eyes

"What if I don't want to?" Monroe questioned making Isabelle hum

"Oh, you didn't become a guidance counselor to hunt people you're supposed to help them," Isabelle spoke coming beside Lydia

"I'm sorry, I can't help with this. Is that how you do your predictions? Do you have to touch someone?" Monroe questioned as she came closer

"No," Lydia responded in a short voice

"Then how do you do it? How do you know who's gonna die next?" Monroe asked before Lydia sighed

"There doesn't have to be a next on either side, please meet with him," Lydia spoke as the two girls walked out

Mason and Corey had run when they saw her and told her to follow them, she reached the classroom to see Gabe and Nolan punching Liam making Isabelle jump up to help Liam but were grabbed by two Lacrosse players. Isabelle was trying to get out of his grip as Corey went to go get the coach,

"Get up. Get up! What are you trying to hide, Liam? Your eyes? Huh? Open your eyes," Gabe demanded before Isabelle scoffed

"Let go of me you perv!" Isabelle shouted twisting his arm

"Hey, let him go!" Mason shouted to the boys

"Are you just going to let us do this to you? You know you can take us, all you have to do is change," Gabe taunted the boy

"The sun..." Liam mumbled making Gabe pause

"What? Gabe questioned as Liam panted

"The sun, the moon, the truth," Liam gasped out as he took deep breaths

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Nolan asked the other boy

"Who cares?" Gabe started before grabbing Liam again

"Let him go!" Isabelle shouted to them only to be ignored

"You're fighting it but you can't hold back forever," Gabe mocked as he punched him

"Do something," Isabelle pleaded with the teacher

"Sometimes it's best to let them work things out on their own," Mrs. Finch remarked as she backed up

"Hey! What the hell is going on? Back off! Hey! Get to the Principal's office! Now! What the hell is this? Get out! All of you! I can't stand to look at your faces! Come on, come on, come on! Let's go. Let's go," Coach shouted to the students as the group ran to Liam who was coughing and panting

"I can't believe you did that," Mason commented as they leaned down

"Clark Kent, right?" Liam questioned looking at them

"Yeah, Clark Kent," Isabelle chuckled before laying her head against his, and the boys left them

"I'm okay," Liam told her as he heard her heartbeat

"I know what you were doing," Isabelle stated as she pulled back

"Trying not to shift," Liam stated trying to cover it up

"No, you took that beating because you think you deserve it because of what happened to Brett and Lori," Isabelle explained making him sigh

"Maybe I do," Liam told her as her heartbeat slowed

"You took a beating, but you didn't deserve it," Isabelle told him with a smile

"I know I didn't kill them. A hunter did and she has a name," Liam told her making her nod her head

"Yeah, and she's also got new recruits to see, Nolan's not the only one you gotta worry about now," Isabelle added with a soft frown

"You mean Gabe?" Liam questioned his sister

"No, I mean, like, everyone. Nolan didn't just want you to shift in front of everyone to show them that you're a werewolf. He wanted to show everyone that you're the enemy and that we should be hunted," Isabelle told him before he pulled her into a hug

Isabelle hugged him back before she got a text from Scott telling them to meet him at the house as they had new information to update them on. Isabelle and Liam went back to Scott's house with Scott, Lydia, and Malia. When they turned on the light there was a girl covered in blood.

"Scott," Isabelle mumbled to the boy

"Scott McCall, Isabelle Dunbar, " She whispered before almost falling

"Wait, hey, hey. Hey. Sit down, She's a werewolf" Scott announced as he looked at her

"Who did this to you? A hunter?" Maila questioned the girl

"A deputy," She replied making them pause

"They've got a deputy?" Liam asked the group

"They've got everyone," Isabelle whispered in return looking at him
