Part Two

Author's note.

Hello dear readers,
we're now at the beginning of Part Two of High on You, and I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to talk about the story so far and what you can expect from it in the future.

First of all, let me say that this story is far from perfect. These characters are far from perfect, but the process has been so fun that I don't regret one single choice I made so far.
I hope you can see how both Do-il and In-joo are flawed characters, always trying their best, but still hurting either each other or other people around them. I felt like this was their sort of vibe in the show, and wanted to keep it here too.
In-joo has an incredibly difficult behaviour to describe. She's annoying at times, and selfish. But she's also so incredibly real, loving, and raw. I really hope this translates in the FF.
Do-il has his usual mysterious vibe, although he's only keeping it up with his love interest. Why? Who knows, honestly. What I know, though, is that I cannot wait to dig up some more aspects of him in the chapters to come.

I've received comments regarding our lovely Du-joon-ah that warmed my heart, and as I stated in the comment section - of I don't remember which chapter - , many people that have read my previous work ended up loving the OCs more than the fictional characters from the show! I'm really happy you love him, too.

Now. What are you gonna find in part two?

- we're gonna go knee-deep into Doilinjoo feelings;
- some unresolved problems from the tv show will come back hunting the characters;
- we're gonna travel, still quite unsure whether we're gonna travel a lot or just a little;
- bromance alert!
- sisters united alert!
- probably more, but in due time.
