Hello my readers, I have returned. For how long, no idea~

I am slowly going insane from life 😀

_________

"Alright everyone, let's go!"

_____________

Shane yelled out to everyone. With everyone getting into the vehicles we had, while me and Miguel got into the SUV to watch over Jim.

"So, your Jim, huh?" Miguel said and plopped down on the couch that was next to the bed. I gave a soft chuckle at his tone, walking over and sat down next to him. Grabbing the rag from a bucket next to the bed, ringing it out and brought it up to Jim's forehead. Dabbing away some of the sweat.

"Yes that's me, and you are?" Jim asked with a sharp hiss, shifting to sit up against the wall of the SUV. Turning his head to look at Miguel.

"I'm Miguel," Miguel said, leaning back against the couch with a small smile. Showing off the dimples he had, crossing his arms across his chest. I watched the interaction, continuing to wipe away the sweat along Jim's face.

'I hope the bite works.' I thought, but I couldn't help the sinking feeling that something will go wrong.

_______

Throughout the trip, I tried to keep Jim comfortable. But with each bump and jolt of the SUV seemed to just bring him more, and more pain. With only what felt like empty words of hope coming from my lips and paper.

"It's ok Jim, you're doing great." I wrote, with him giving a tight laugh. As if amused by my words, but I knew he appreciated the effort.

"T- Thanks, though I still feel like shit." Jim groaned out, giving a low exhale as he shifted again. The cut was still red, but I held on hope that somehow whatever was keeping me how I am would be passed to Jim.

Just then the SUV stuttered to a stop, I looked away. With Jacqui walking to us from the front of the SUV.

"I can take over, you two go and stretch your legs." Jacqui said, with me giving a nod of my head. I passed her the rag, before grabbing Miguel's hand. Guiding him out of the SUV, and to the front where Rick and Dale were.

"I told you we'd never get far on that hose. I said I needed the one from the cube van." Dale said as Rick fanned the hissing engined with his hat, I tilted my head. Walking up to the two.

"₴Ø₥Ɇ₮Ⱨł₦₲ ₩ⱤØ₦₲?" I asked as I stood in between then, with Miguel glancing to the engine.

"Hose- can't you Jury-rig it?" Rick said to me before asking Dale. Placing his hands on his hips after putting his hat back on.

"That's all it's been so far. It's more duct tape than hose. And I'm out of duct tape." Dale said with a shake of his head, gesturing slightly with his hands. I hummed, before turning my attention away. Before hearing Shane's voice.

"I see something up ahead, a gas station if we're lucky." He said, pulling away the binoculars he had. Turning his head to look at us. Just then Jacqui jumped out of the SUV, scrambling to us.

"Y'all, Jim-- it's bad. I don't think he can take it anymore." Jacqui said, her breath ragged as she turned to walk back into the vehicle. I furrow my brows, turning to follow her. Before I felt someone grab my arm, turning my head. I saw Miguel, who shook his head.

"Come, let the adults handle it." Miguel said, tugging me back to his side.

'Bitch, I am a adult. Stoner.' I thought, giving a low grumble but didn't move away. Looking back to the group.
