The rest of the night passed amazingly. On the rare occasion someone would be brave enough to ask either Edward or Bella to dance, they would politely decline and go back to dancing only together.

Renata didn't have any more difficulties in keeping up her shield, so she was able to join in activities.

If there had been anyone there, who hadn't known any better, they would have thought the most of the people there to be drunk. Giggling and laughing came from everywhere.

A few of them were sitting in a circle playing truth or dare. Bella, Edward, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett, Renata, Heidi, Corin and Chelsea.

"And, then-" Heidi wheezed. "To make the other guy jealous, he offered me a drink." She burst out laughing. "Well he probably meant something different, but, hey!" She laughed again. "Bellie poo, truth or dare?"

"I don't trust you," she laughed. "Truth."

"You're no fun," she pouted. Then she cackled with laughter again.

"Honestly," Bella sighed in exasperation. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were high."

She wheezed again. "O-okay. What exactly did you say to Demetri that one time he asked you out?"

"What!?" Edward snapped.

Bella hid her face in her hands. Everyone laughed.

"I remember that," Renata wiped a fake tear from her eye. "I was there with you."

"Heidi!" Bella moaned. "That was like half a century ago! Ask something else!"

"You didn't want to tell me back then," she argued. Then she smirked. "You have to answer." Then she glanced over at Edward. "Besides, I think that one is about to explode with jealousy. You better tell him."

Bella sighed and hid her face again. "Okay, I knew he wouldn't understand if I told him the truth, so I told him that another member of the guard had a crush on him, and that I couldn't do that to them."

Everyone burst out laughing again and even Edward let out a quiet chuckle.

"Oh my gosh! That was your doing?" Corin gasped, out of breath from the laughter. "He spent a whole decade trying to figure out who that mystery person was!"

"Gaaah! Don't remind me!"

Before anyone else had the chance to comment, she addressed the next person.

"Corin, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

A wicked smile spread across Bella's face. "I dare you to go up to Demetri and tell him that you were that mystery person."

She gasped, "You bitch."

"Oooo," Chelsea teased. "It's moments like these where I'm glad I have a perfect memory."

Corin stood up, making a very rude hand gesture to Bella, and walked off to the corner where Demetri stood, talking to Afton.

She shot one more dark look at Bella and coughed. Demetri turned round.

They were far enough away that even their vampire ears couldn't hear more than mumbling.

After a few minutes Corin spoke loud enough for them all to hear.

"I'M SORRY IT WAS A DARE YOU CAN BLAME BELLA, BYE!"

She returned to the circle and began slapping everyone who was laughing, (aka, everyone.)

She glanced at Alice. "Alice, isn't it?"

She nodded.

"Truth or dare?"
