Many months later, Bella had as good as perfected her self control, according to a proud Edward, and a jealous Jasper.
Today was Bella's first day at Forks high. They had decided to send her there after all, instead of waiting until they moved to the next place. They wouldn't be at Forks high for all that much longer, anyway. So it provided an easy escape if Bella couldn't handle it after all, which Edward didn't think would be the case.
It was safe to say that Jessica had widely advertised Bella's arrival. People were walking past the same spot every five minutes, just to get a glimpse of her.
Every time they did so, Bella would sink back in her chair, as everyone, (sans Edward), laughed.
"They're all hitting on you," he complained.
The first time he had caught wind of such a train of thought, (the moment Bella walked into school), he had grabbed her by the waist and kissed her firmly. Not that it did anything.
"It'll die down soon," Bella laughed. "I hope.."
"Tell that to Mike Newton," he grumbled. "I wouldn't be surprised if he's already picked out a ring."
"Too bad for him, I'm already married."
Edward spun round and glowered at an unsuspecting Mike Newton, who turned away quickly.
He was about to get out of his chair when Bella stopped him, (non verbally.)
The rest of the Cullens turned away, they were used to this kind of behaviour. It seemed that Bella and Edward's 2 month long honeymoon had not let them get enough of each other.
As Edward's eyebrows furrowed, trying to block out the thoughts, he was shocked when suddenly, all voices disappeared. Much to Bella's dismay, this caused them to momentarily break apart.
"I forgot you could do that," he chuckled.
She laughed. "So did I."
And then they returned to kissing. It wasn't until things got fairly passionate, with panting noises, that Emmett coughed and reminded them that they were in a public place.
Edward snorted. "As if you and Rose haven't done worse."
It wasn't until they got home, Edward and Bella quite ready to retreat to their bedroom, that they received a surprising visitor.
"Renata!"
"Hi! Sorry to show up unannounced." She set her bags down and Bella ran over to hug her.
After a while, Bella and Renata had went back to their weekly calls, and things had gotten much better between them.
"I wanted so badly to update you on everything that was going on, but I had to swear to Sulpicia not to tell anyone anything.
All of the Cullens sat down while Renata spoke. "Aro is dead."
They all gasped.
"Woah! Let me breathe," Renata laughed as a million voices spoke all at once.
"Sulpicia was furious when she heard out about what Aro had done to Bella, then she tried to find out about if he had been lying to her about more things, turns out Aro killed Didyme to get Marcus to stay in the Volturi."
They all gasped again, but only Bella understood the true meaning of that.
"No.." she whispered.
"Yes, Aro kind of banished me when he found out that Sulpicia had found out about Bella through me, so I had to run before he killed me. Anyway, Sulpicia kept contacting me and when she told me about Didyme she said she was going to do something about it.
