After the pervious situation the palace remained calm and had a warm feeling by the presence of Diana in it
And that peacefulness will be broken by the emperor announcing that Diana is pregnant, the palace became hectic, happiness followed and the maids including you were preparing for the arrival of the new prince/princess
After a few months from the announcement the emperor seemed tense you tried asking him what was happening but he always said nothing
Soon you learned that the child Diana was carrying was eating her life away.. You were crushed after learning that you begeed her all you could to give that baby out, she was the only one who talked to you without you having to fake your reaction and way of talking
However all your begging were met with refusal, she said she is keeping it at the end you gave up and could only comfort her through the pain
One day you were cleaning the emperor's room from all the booze bottles that was there it was late and he went to meet Diana so you thought it was the perfect time
While cleaning you had to put away somethings that was scattered around while cleaning you saw the drawer that was always locked it was open curiously took the best of you and you opened that drawer, the drawer contained some papers you looked around for a few minutes only to see a familiar small bottle
You kept thinking but didn't remember what it was, however you swore you saw it before.. Hurriedly you closed the drawer and continued cleaning the room
Just as you were about to leave the room after cleaning the door slammed and an angry looking Claude, he looked very angry that you thought you did something wrong
"your majesty? Did something happen?" you asked concerned about him
"leave" he just said through gritted teeth if it had been any other day you would have followed his orders to perfection
"your majesty I can't leave you like this it is against my morals" you said standing looking at him in the eyes
"I said leave don't make me repeat my self.. Don't make me harm you" he said angry holding your collar
"I am not leaving, your majesty" you said continuing to look at him he just scoffed
"you really are stubborn you know that" he chuckled dryly letting go of your collar and wrapping his arms around you instead "if you are gonna stay here you better have a magical way of comforting me since you seem to always have one" he said sarcastically
You were surprised and trying your best to form understandable words but nothing came out
"what? Where did your determination go now?" he continued hugging you tighter burying his head in your shoulder
"I think you don't want to say what bothers you so I am just gonna comfort you" you raised your hand hesitantly to his back patting it rubbing circles on his back

After a few months since that day the emperor would call you at unholy times of the night just for you to comfort you he would also sometimes just appear out of thin air behind you or in your room and it startles you every time.. You started thinking that no where was save from his sudden appearance
One day as you were serving tea to the emperor news a young maid came running to the room screaming that Diana was giving birth, you felt yourself tremble when hearing that almost dropping the tea pot you looked at maid in horror, the emperor looked mad than anything else..
He got up and left the room taking a few knights with him or the knights actually followed him.. You ran after him anxious not wanting your friend to die, hoping that she would miraculously survive this birth and be able to live and raise that child
Claude went straight to the harem once he arrived their he killed every woman that stood in his was and also those who didn't stand in his way you couldn't stop him even after telling him to stop multiple times seeing that blood made you traumatized afraid that you would end up like them so you stopped stopping him and just looked away at every murder tears were running down your face in horror hearing those women scream you hoped that you died in your sleep that day and didn't have to see this horrific accident.. No massacre take place
Soon the emperor reached Diana's room where only a babies cries were late he arrived way too late.. Diana already died only her child remained you glanced at her one last time claude also glanced at her.. He looked kinda broken, you reached for the cover and covered her face looking down remorsefully
The emperor went berserk he wanted to kill that baby she gave birth to but this time you stood in front of
"I am sorry your majesty, I can't let you kill that child" you said looking at him there was too much emotions in you to care about your life
"get. Out. Of. The. Way" he said angry as he glared at the baby in the hands of the maid
"no your majesty.. If you want to kill them you have to kill me first" you said still glaring at him.. The knights gasped and so did the maid behind you that maid had blue eyes and brown hair
Claude held you from your collar carrying you up he had his sword on his neck so close that some blood were dripping down from your neck, he stopped moving the sword suddenly the maid who was holding the newborn fell on her knees "please your majesty I will raise them in silence you won't hear from them please" she said weakly he turned his glare at the maid
"you better keep your word" he muttered still angry as he let go of your collar letting you fall down on your knees
"yes your majesty I will" she said still being on her knees, Claude turned to leave before looking behind him "y/n" he said harshly you got up to follow him you were holding your neck as it was bleeding you turned to the maid quickly saying "take care of them" before you ran after the emperor
