With the conclusion of his training on the Herta Space Station, Caelus found himself preparing to return to planet, Jarilo VI. Bidding farewell to the staff members of the station, he was met with warm wishes and words of encouragement. As he made his way out, the Aurora curtain light cone shimmered, enveloping him and whisking him away to his intended destination.
Back on Planet Jarilo VI, the familiarity of this planet surrounded him. However, amidst the sense of return, his smartphone buzzed with an urgent message from the Restricted Zone Radio.
"Urgent reports from the logistics team said a number of broken patrol robots from an unknown source were spotted in the restricted zone. They pose a risk to our staff members. Until the situation is resolved, non-combatants are advised not to operate alone and should apply for an escort team when the situation demands it. Anyone who has information on the origin of these robots should report to Molly, tier-2 engineer of the Technology Division."
As the notification flashed on his screen, Caelus realized that a new challenge was unfolding before him. He received another message, this time from the Belobog Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone, echoing the same concerns.
As a helpful individual by nature, Caelus felt the responsibility to investigate further. He knew that this was not directly his business, yet the spirit of aiding others compelled him. With a sense of purpose, he set out to find Molly, who was tasked with handling the situation.
Upon locating Molly, he observed her engaged in a tense conversation with another researcher. Molly's frustration was palpable as she questioned the researcher about the defective robots.
"So? What did you do with those defective robots?" Molly's voice carried a mixture of exasperation and impatience.
The researcher hesitated before responding. "Ahem... well..."
Molly's tone grew more insistent, urging for transparency. "Come on! What are you squirming around for?"
The researcher finally admitted, "The worker in charge of arms management forgot to report the defective units to the commanding officer... Those robots may have already been deployed to the restricted zone."
Molly's reaction was immediate and intense. "WHAT!?"
The researcher tried to offer reassurance, albeit weakly. "Don't get angry! I have written a report of this incident and submitted it to management...We just need to wait for them to send someone to deal with it!"
He continued, "But you know what our approval system is like... Until then, we can't really do anything."
Molly's frustration boiled over as she challenged the researcher's calm demeanor. "We can't just wait here and do nothing! There will be big trouble if we don't deal with this now! How can you just sit around so calmly!?"
The researcher's explanations further incited Molly's anger. "You are right... But we are just small potatoes. There is no way we can deal with those crazy robots..."
Molly's irritation deepened as she vented her frustration. "Argh! This makes me so angry... Where are the Garrison people? They are to blame for the restricted zone receiving this batch of subpar garbage since they didn't do enough quality control! Shouldn't those people come forward and provide us an explanation?"
The researcher's explanation highlighted the complexity of the situation. "Well... I've contacted them but no matter what I say, they just blame it on the Technology Division, saying that they're unreliable and the Garrison had nothing to do with it. Which means we have to deal with it ourselves..."
Molly's frustration reached its peak as she exclaimed, "That's ridiculous! How can they shirk their responsibility like that?"
Amidst this heated exchange, Caelus approached Molly, ready to offer assistance. "Do you need a hand?"
