Patient V | A TUTORYIM FANFIC

Yim had been exposed to things that the Foundation has kept a secret from the public. He had taken care of many unusual patients but out of all the things he has seen, this was the first time he'd ever felt fear.

It wasn't because the patient had a strange appearance, it was far from that. Patient V looks a lot like human, except for the fangs in his teeth.

What made Yim afraid is that Patient V is violent, most of the patients he had handled in the past behaved like animals but Patient V was far from that. He was bloodthirsty, and even when he isn't provoked he still attacks.

"You sure about this son?" Max asked his child with concern. Even Max himself tried to change Dr. Nora's mind but it was already settled. It's been sent to the higher ups that Yim himself would monitor and take care of Patient V.

"I don't have a choice, so.... " Yim dragged out, not feeling well from the amount of blood he just saw a while ago. He had seen the way Patient V murdered three staff's with ease and the way their blood spilled everywhere, the image almost made him vomit again.

"You could try to escape from the Foundation. Change your name, your face, lay low for a while, you could move to an island too" His father suggested but he denied the suggestion. Both of them knew that the Foundation will find them anyway even if they tried to run away.

Yim checked the time and it felt like time flew by so fast. There was only a few minutes left until he'll meet Patient V again.

Yim couldn't help but bite his nails from the anxious feeling that hit him. His life was now in the hands of Patient V. One single mistake and he would die faster than a blink of an eye.

"Good luck son, and stay safe okay?" Yim nodded and headed off to Patient V's confinement room. As he walked, he couldn't help but picture his death in his mind.

Out of all the gore things that flashed in his mind, one seemed to have scared him the most. And it was the image of him getting cut in half with just the use of Patient V's hand. It felt surreal even though it was just in his mind.

Yim didn't notice that he was already in Patient V's confinement room until he came face to face to the door. The door is guarded by two men armed with guns while inside the room there was someone standing in front of the glass that split the room into two. It was Dr. Nora who was observing Patient V's unconscious body.

"Good Morning Dr. Nora" Yim tried to smile as he greeted the older woman in front of him.

"You wanna know why I chose you to take care of him?" Dr. Nora asked, Yim only stayed quit as he waited for Dr. Nora to speak again.

"I chose you because out of all the people here, you know how to sympathize with the patients" Dr. Nora smiled, she then gave the file she was holding to Yim.

"I'm counting on you Yim" She then left, leaving Yim alone with the beast that he feared. Yim nervously opened the file, his hands profusely sweating.

"Okay. Phew, you can do this Yim" He whispered to himself. Yim read the files, reading Patient V's background and his food intake, his DNA, all his medical information.

When he was done, he checked the beast's pulse and heart beat with the use of the machine beside the glass. Patient V's pulse and heart beat were normal and Yim wrote it down, he is surely going to give this to Dr. Nora later.

Yim wondered why they even have to assign someone to monitor the beast, they could just treat him like a ferocious animal and put Patient V behind bars. But they didn't, which only puzzled Yim's mind. As if everything hasn't gotten worser, there was a blank space for the last part of his work.
