1.2 Why do you want to become a Wiccan?
Just think about why you want to become Wiccan. Is it so you can curse people? So you can tell everyone you’re a witch? To get closer to nature?
‘To curse people’ or ‘to look cool’ usually means that you’re not actually doing it to get into the practices, and be faithful to the goddess or create charms. When you find yourself wanting it to look cool or gain the ability to curse, that means that your only doing it for your image, not at all for your spiritual self! I can’t stop you from doing this, but that’s the whole point of a year and a day, it’s determining weather you REALLY WANT to do this.
Some of you might say, ‘to get closer to nature’ or ‘I feel like it’s the right path for me’, you’re on the right track! One thing is, that you should trust your gut, so if you feel like Wicca is the thing you’re supposed to do, give it a shot!
Take a moment to pull out a piece of paper, and write down why you want to be a Wiccan witch, using thoughts STRAIT FROM YOUR HEAD.
If you find yourself trying to convince your mind that something isn’t the reason you want to do it, chances are, it’s a reason. Write it down.
