Chapter 23 ❥

It was start of the new year I had a meeting with my agent to go over my options which was a meeting I did not want to attend I honestly hoped that I would only get an offer from one club or two where it would be easy to pick between them but that would never happen

I dresses plainly and opted for no make up, just brushing through my hair and I tried telling myself everything was going to be fine and to anyone else it might not of seemed as big of deal but to me I felt like my life was falling apart

But regardless I left my apartment and headed to meet my agent

I had asked to meet somewhere less formal meeting in an office would of made me overwhelmed so I was currently pulling up to a near by cafe to meet Aubrey my agent,

I walked in and saw her sat at a table near the window with two comfy chairs pulled beside it one obviously occupied by Aubrey who was busy typing away on her laptop

"Hey" I said pulling out the chair opposite hers

"Hey Bella I ordered you a lemon honey tea by the way, how have you been" she said pulling her attention away from her laptop

"As good as I can be" I replied honestly

"Okay and what does that mean" she questioned

"Well i got injured which meant I couldn't play in my final games of the season, I had a panic attack on New Year's Eve, within the next few weeks im making a decision which might be the make or break of my relationship and I have never felt more overwhelmingly stressed in my entire life" I shrugged like it was nothing and sipped my tea

"Okay there's a lot to unpack there do you want to talk about-"

"I'd rather not talk about anything emotional right now I'm just trying to get through everything" I cut her off

"Okay so you want to get straight into it" she asked to which I nodded

"So I have quite a few offers for you which I'm guessing isn't very helpful for you but I'm sure you'll be able to narrow it down, so I'm just going to list them off" she started

Manchester United, 3-year contract offer

Chelsea, 2-year contract offer

Arsenal, 3 and a half year contract offer

Lyon, 2-year contract offer

Manchester City, 2-year contract offer

Barcelona, 3-year contract offer

At the reading of the last club I closed my eyes and sighed this is what I was afraid of choosing between Barcelona or arsenal, even tho I wasn't born in Spain Barcelona felt like my home and I love all my friends there but in the here and now Leah was my home and all my family and new friends were here I really didn't know what to do

"Hey Arabella" I heard Aubrey say rather hastily which sort of made me jump

"I've said your name like 5 times are you alright you look distant" she asked worried

"Yea I'm sorry I was deep in thought what were you saying" I asked

"So obviously you don't need to make any decisions right now but do you have any thoughts" she said to me

"I- um yea I'm only considering Barcelona and arsenal at this point in time" I responded nodding my head

"Are you sure" Aubrey asked

"Yes 100% sure" I replied

"Okay we'll that narrows it down a lot, I will inform the necessary people about your choices and I'll schedule a meeting for next week same time so we can talk it over more" she told me to which I nodded my head
