Chapter 7

It was time for us to go. I avoided everyone, even Max. When I was outside the school, I bumped to Kia.

𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘞𝘰𝘭𝘧! 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥! Kia looked at me confused.

"Ok, I won't read it", she said. I saw Cris from the corner of my eye. He was just standing there.

Cris's pov

I was walking from the left of the exit door. I saw Kia and Yuki.

"Ok, I won't read it", I heard Kia said to her. I just stood there. Yuki walked away. I went to Kia, still looking at the direction Yuki went.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘺?, I asked her in my mind.

𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥. 𝘛𝘴𝘬 𝘵𝘴𝘬, 𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘳 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭, she said. I glared at her.

𝘐 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴! 𝘔𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘶𝘴, I growled at her. She shrugged and walked away.

𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘨𝘰, 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥, she said. I could just beat her ass up. But no. I went outside and looked for Yuki.

Back with Yuki

I was sitting were Cris told me about the Wolfons. I just stared at the ground.

"Hey girl", someone said. I looked up as it was Julia and the others.

𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯, I said.

"How dare you to ignore us!", Adria hissed again. I pursed my lips. "I was a bad mistake in ignoring us. You know better", she said and crossed her arms.

"Leave her alone"

The girls widened their eyes and quickly walked away.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵? I looked behind me and saw Cris. I quickly stood up.

"Cris! I uhh..." 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦, 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥. He stared at me, then sighed and sat down on the stone where I was sitting.

"Do you really want to know what I am?", he asked. I nodded.

𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘞𝘰𝘭𝘧 𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘵.

"Ok, I'll tell you but promise me you won't tell anyone", he said.

"I won't", I promised. He sigh.

"I am a NightWolf but half Galactic. My mom is a GalaxyWolf and my dad is a NightWolf. Kia is also a Night-GalaxyWolf", he said. I was about to faint.

"But.... How...?", I struggled to talk. Cris smiled a little.

"So if you are a NightWolf, then you must have a NightWolf name, right?", I asked. He nodded.

"My NightWolf name is Nightgazer but everyone calls me Gazer. Maybe because of my wings", he said. I tilted my head. "You have wings? I thought NightWolves didn't have wings", I said.

"Well, 𝗜 do and so does Kia", he said.

"She does? How come I didn't saw then when she was in her human-wolf form?", I asked.

"She was hiding them", he said.

𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘭! 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘭𝘧𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨. Cris smiled and laughed a little.

"What?", I asked.

"Is just that your mind is so warm and cuddling", he said. I blushed a little. I saw Kia coming.

"Hi y'all! What y'all doing?", she asked.

Cris's pov

"Hi y'all! What y'all doing?", Kia asked.

𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘎𝘢𝘻𝘦𝘳, 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳?, she asked.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵?, I asked back. She crossed her arms. Yuki looked at me then at Kia.

"Are y'all talking to each other?", Yuki asked. I turned and looked at Yuki.

"Yea. Well, more like fighting", Kia said.

𝘞𝘦... 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳, I thought.

Back with Yuki

𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥.

"You don't want to know", Cris said. I kept forgetting that they can read minds. Kia looked at Cris then at me.

"You know...? ", she asked. I nodded.

𝘠𝘦𝘴 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘞𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴. Kia looked surprised. Maybe I don't have to be scared of them. Kia and Cris smiled at me.
