/Dual POV/

(Vihaan's pov)

I could sense the building up awkwardness again after I said that sometimes it's for both love and war.
Roohi was just staring into her lap playing with the hem of her duppata and I couldn't gather courage to carry forward the conversation now.
Yes, sometimes I go with the flow and speak and do things confidently but this new awkwardness between us is also not my cup of tea.
I am also so new at all of this...

Not reaching any conclusion, I just started staring outside to my right and after sometime she did the same.

I startled when the person behind us gave us loud horn...I looked in front seeing that light turned green.
Without wasting any more minute, I started the car and continued our journey.

When we were about to reach, I felt the need to break this silence now.
I don't want this to continue to our dinner so I initiated the conversation,

"Our music taste matches."
I said giving her a smile.

"Yeah it does."
She answered back with the same smile.

"Hmm..acha hai, zindagi gaate gaate sath guzar jayegi."
(Hmm... it's good, life will be spent singing and jamming together)
I said laughing a little.
It was getting a little awkward again but it vanished when she also gave a little chuckle to my sentence and hmmed.

We finally reached Haveli and I parked the car in parking lot and we both simultaneously came out, I checked the doors of car and she waited for me.

Then I signalled her with my head that 'let's go' and she started going forward setting her dupatta on her shoulders and neck.

I thought of holding her hand and brought the side of my hand a little closer to hers.
Our hands brushed together sideways and we both looked at each other backing off our hands at the same time.

No it didn't work.

I shrugged off the thought and started walking normally.
She was looking all around taking in the sight.
A satisfactory and cheerful little smile was pasted on her face which was glowing in yellow white lights coming from Haveli.

I smiled to myself seeing her happy.

"Girls these days usually like cafe's and big restaurants but you like this place.
Mostly people come here with family and-"
She cut me off and said,

"We are going to be a family too."
She said sincerely like I said something wrong earlier.

"Yes of course. I didn't mean that."
I said in a slow voice.

"Actually I like the joyous environment of this place. Cafe's and restaurants are pretty and nice but there is air of sophistication waving through them. It becomes so formal. But here this place, is like home, it gives me pleasure and sooths me. I feel comfortable here.
This doesn't mean I don't like going to restaurants but yeah Haveli any time over anything."
She finished it with a full blown smile.
Her words and eyes were depicting her love for this place.

I like when she explains herself. Mostly people leave the answer with yes or no but I think she likes to elaborate and explain her point of view for everything I ask.

Just one thing she doesn't talk on her own. She only answers what I ask but never asks me anything.
I want her to ask me....anything... like couples do before marriage.
But there's no point of forcing someone. When she would feel like asking anything she would...she is a little shy but also a confident woman who speaks her mind so I don't think she would hesitate a lot to ask anything she really wants to know.
I think she just takes a little time to mix up but her actions and words do not show any hesitation apart from few matters.
