I wake up by a maid picking me up, "Good morning your highness" she says with a smile and i giggle, "Well dont you have her majestys charm" I smile at her agian, 'She referred me to my mother'
She sets me down on the couch and grabs another blanket to wrap me up in
after she changes me, she sets me down back inside the crib and picks my brother up to do the same thing to him, 'Wheres claude' i start turning my head, but i don't see him
the maid walks back to anteros crib and sets him down before walking back to the rocking chair and sitting down, 'How should i get her attention' i start squirming to get her to notice me, in which it works
she gets up and walks over to me, "What are you making such a fuss about your highness?" i look at the portrait of claude and the lady, which is probably my mother, and look at claude
"Ahh, your highness wants hes majesty, well he should be back from the meeting soon your highness" she says as she walks back to the chair, 'at least baby me, like im only a kid' i say pouting
Claude pov
I enter the room where we're having the meeting today, They greet me as I sit down, "You understand why I called you here, right?" "Of course your majesty" One of the men say,"Good, so I'm sure you guys have got it covered" "We're working on it" lady medea says
"Have you found any leads?" "Not yet your majesty," Dion says, I sigh out of frustration, "Are you doing everything you can?" "of course you majesty, it's just-" "Just what?" I say glaring at him, "Lady Medea is-" "I'm pregnant, your majesty" I look at them before sighing again and closing my eyes
"congratulations, you may take a rest if it's too much stress," I say leaning back in my chair and rubbing my temples, "thank you your majesty" they both say while bowing their head, "So how are the twins your majesty?" one of the counts say,"their good..."
"Well, how should we approach the death of her majesty to the people?" "I'll send one of my messengers to read out a letter from me" "Do you have a messenger in mind your majesty?" I nod as I grab a piece of paper, "I heard you had two boys your majesty" "word travels fast"
I say looking at count Louis, "If you ever plan on getting them married, my wife and i-" "Dont finish that sentence if you want to keep your head" my glare dominating him as he lowers his head, "anything else?" I say, now in a bad mood, they all shake their head and I nod before getting up from my seat and leaving
"What a creature, they were only born yesterday" I lossen my collar and head over to my office with Felix behind me, "Can you believe him, waning my son to marry his wench of a daughter" I open the door and sit down on the chair before picking up a piece of paper, "Felix" "yes your majesty?" "tell the maids to bring athanasios and anteros please" "of course your majesty"
A few minutes later, the door opens and I see two maids bring in two strollers, I get up and walk over to them, "how are they?" "they're good your majesty" "are they fed?" "yes your majesty" "alright then, you may leave" I say and they leave
i look at them and see athanasios smile at me with her smile, i put my finger out and he grabs it, "aren't they cute, Felix?" i say smiling, "They are, your majesty" I turn my attention to anteros
"And how are you, lv been told you cry more then your brother" I take my finger away from athanasios and pick up anteros, "Anteros...meaning love returned, i dont think ill ever love someone as much as your mother"
My smile fading away, but quickly brought back from his smile that reminds me so much of Lia, "You have her smile, both of you" i say the rest turning my head towards athanasios
"Are you gonna move them to the topez palace?" Felix says, "Not yet, until their at age" The topez palace being the palace where the royal princes live or stay, "I see" he says, he walks over, "May i your majesty?" i nod, "Be careful"
Athanasios Pov
Felix goes to pick me up and i get lifted up and he smiles to me and of course i smile back, "He has her majestys charm, your majesty" "They both do" i touch felixs cheek making him smile even wider, "Looks like hes taken a liking to you felix" claude says
"Im happy you think so your majesty" Claude sets anteros down and felix sets me down, 'Aww man, back to the stroller' I say and pout
I start moving around making small noises to get Felix or claudes attention since I don't want to spend my whole day in the crib, while I'm doing this, my brother or anteros is snoring
'I guess that's what actual baby's do, sleep all day but I'm not some baby!' "Now now, what's wrong Athanasius" I hear Claude say and he gets up walking over to me
I stretch my arm towards him and saying I want to get out of this stroller, it seems he understands since he picks me up and brings me towards his desk where his doing paper work
"My, your a fussy one" he says looking at me and I hear Felix chuckle a bit, "It may seem he takes after you your majesty" Claude frowns, "I am not fussy" I giggle, agreeing with Felix
"So you think I'm fussy as well?" he looks at me then smiles, I look over to the paper work and see letters from nobles, I point to one of them and Claude grab it, "Do you want me to read it?" I giggle, giving him a yes
He grabs it and opens it, "Dear your majesty, I want to congratulate you on your two new born sons, I'm happy and saddened from the twins birth, but saddened that we lost such an angle, Her Majesty, but I'm sure she is watching from above and watching over you and your sons"

I look at Claude and he sighs, "Alright, next one shall we?" he says with a smile that looks forced, I touch his face and looks at me with sad, hatred, and love in his eyes, most likely the hatred to who ever killed my mom
He grabs another one and starts reading,"Dear your majesty, I am deeply thrilled to hear you have two new born sons, and also sad by her majestys..." he stops and I can already sense he's mad,"Felix" "yes your majesty?" "Burn this letter, for me" Felix walks up and grabs the letter then throws it to the fire place
"What animals think their daughter can marry my son at such an young age" my eyes widened, 'People already want to marry off to their daughters?! What the hell I was only born yesterday'
He gets up and picks me up with him before setting me down in the stroller, "I'm going on a walk, I need to let out some steam" he says while Felix nods, "of course your majesty, do you wish for me to-" "No, just stay here and look after them for me"
'What?!, he's not gonna take us with him?!, come on!' "alright your majesty" Felix says as Claude leaves us with him
Claude's pov
"What kind of animals are they, wanting me to marry them off when they were only born yesterday, tch, who the hell do they think they are", I say as I walk over to Lias greenhouse

I sigh again, but one of sadness as I walk around the building, remembering when we would have tea together and talk, or even just sit there in silence, "Is it weird that I can still hear your voice lia, your laugh, your warmth, ..." I sit down on a chair that she would always sit on when she would drink tea with me
"I hope he's right, I hope you'll still be with me and help me be a good dad lia, even tho your gone, your still in my heart and always will be, I'll never love another like how I love you"
