First Prince

Athanasios pov

After that event, Claude always had a knight by us, along with diana coming to the palace to keep Claude company, and I didn't mind that, as long as she knew she couldn't replace my mother since my father still had paintings around the palace of her

And after finding out how the real Athanasios died along with anteros, Iv been learning the history of both of my parents blood line in order to see what I'm capable of

On the other hand, Anteros doesn't like diana, he thinks she's taking all of claudes  attention, in which she is but I don't mind as long as he doesn't try to kill us, but Anteros doesn't like that

He always tells me what claude finds special in her and always calls her names like wench and commoner in which claude gets angry and sends him to the room in which I follow anteros because one he's my brother and two I can totally see why he's acting like this

Anyway, right now I'm currently sitting with Claude and Diana drinking some juice as they drink their tea and chat and I hear Claude say my name and I look up at him

"Yes father?" "Where's your brother?" "he's currently in his room" he nods and calls a maid, "Please bring me anteros" she nods and leaves, "I don't think that's a good idea father" "why not?, I just don't want him to feel left out" I nod, 'You idiot, don't you see he doesn't like diana'

A few moments pass by and we hear footsteps behind us and I see anteros walking over to us, "Yes father" Claude flinch's a bit by anteros calling him father and not daddy since he usually calls him that

"Are you gonna join us for tea?" "no, at least not with her being here" he says as he points to Diana, "I can leave your Highness-" "No, if your going to act like a brat, then leave anteros" "Your the one that called me, father" he says before turning around and leaving

Claude sighs, "I don't understand him..." I set my book down and sit up from the chair, "Where are you going Athanasios?" "I'm going to go check on him" I say before leaving Claude and diana alone

Claude pov

I sigh and rumb my temples, "I'm sorry Diana" I say, "It's ok your majesty" "no it's not, I don't understand why they act like that" "Kids act differently then adults your majesty" "still that's not an excuse"

" I have something to tell you, your majesty" I look at her and nod, "I'm pregnant" my eyes widen and I get up and look at her, she also gets up with teary eyes, "Were gonna be a family" she says with a smile

I hug her as I start to get teary as well.

Athanasios pov

I hear her say that I just feel...angry

Not at diana, but at claude, how can he let her say that, I know there's nothing wrong right now but did she say this when the actual athanasios and anteros died?

Did he really plan on having a family after his first one died, was he this happy when she said that to him, did he really try and replace his first family?

The more I think about it, the more angrier I got, and to prevent myself from crying, I bit my lower lip from the inside and I wait a bit before walking over to them, not wanting to look at them, I grab my book but I don't get away with claude around

"Athanasios?" I turn around, "Yes father" "how's Anteros?" why would you care? "He's upset with you" I say looking at him, he nods and I walk back to the palace and our room

I set the book down on my bed and flip over to the page I was on, I'm on what I think is the last page, but I turn to the next page and see a kid, with blonde hair and jewel blue eyes
