ALONE

Chapter 1

He was walking alone in an alley, many thoughts going on in his head.
The things he's gonna face when he reaches home, what uncle's got to say, or do.
Then all of a sudden, the school bully showed up.

Oh no, not again. He thought.

"Hey dumbboy, hows it doing ?" He said as he gave him a slap on his head.
He stumbled and fell down on his hands and knees.

"What's in your bag?"

"......."

"What ya drop for me nigga?"

"......"

"You can't answer?"he kicked him on the belly and he rolled over in pain.
The bully opened his bag and scattered his books on the ground, but couldn't find anything of interest.

"Shit, the boy's got nothing here." He hissed and went over to him and dragged him up by the collar.

"Where's my tax, boy?"

"......"

"I said, where's my payment." He landed a punch on his face,but the boy didn't bulge.
He was just looking at him bravely, no hint of fear.

"So you can't talk, huh, you fucking can't talk?"

"......."

"Imma teach you how to fucking answer me, got it!!"
He pushed him and followed up with a punch, the boy staggered but did nothing.
He slapped him and he fell on the ground, this was followed by many kicks on the ribs.
He beat him to unconsciousness, if not for a small girl who saw him and screamed for help, he a would have killed him.

There was a patrol team nearby, having heard the girl's scream they rushed to the scene, but he escaped.
The boy was taken to a hospital and was bedridden for a whole week.
Nobody came to visit him,but he wasn't bothered.
His fear was that uncle would not believe his story.

The doctor tried to get some information from him but it turned out useless.
He didn't open his mouth at all, he just kept staring at him.
After some attempts he dismissed him as a mentally deranged victim.
