i hate my generation's perspective on love.
i hate the way it's brushed off,
as if it's so simple.
i hate the way it's perceived.
i hate the way it isn't taken seriously,
i hate the way we downgraded.
i love the way it used to be,
hand-written love letters where every word written
was every word meant.
i love how it was taken seriously.
how you would spend the rest of your life with the one.
i love how much effort was put into making sure you'd spend the rest of your lives together.
i hate how we grew out of it.
i hate how instead of getting heartfelt love letters,
we get a few words in a blue bubble.
why did we stop?
and, how do we start again?
