Y/n POV
Liz and I are adjusting to this change better than we thought. We're getting along great, which is something I was worried about to be honest. Thankfully, we have never been closer and despite us living together, we spend time away from each other to avoid anyone getting sick of the other. As of right now, Liz is at college taking a quiz for one of her online classes while I'm sitting in my room.
Now realizing how bored I am without her, I decide to text Serenity to see if she's around

I laughed to myself at her excitement as I picked my room up a little but more and waited for her arrival. I also wiped down the counters in case they were sticky. Liz and I are pretty good about keeping the apartment clean and everything, but you never know. I pass the time by sitting on the couch and turning on a random show. It wasn't long before the doorbell rang
"Hey!" I smiled at the dark haired girl before stepping aside to let her in
"Hi! Wow, this is nice!" She enthused
"Thank you" I smiled again
"Where's Liz?" She asked
"She's at the college taking some test" I replied
"In summer?" She asked
"She takes summer classes" I briefed her
"Ahhh" she said as it made sense
"Are you ready for school?" I asked her
She made a yikes face and shook her head no
"Are you?" She asked me
"I think so?" I questioned sounding unsure
"We got this" she told me
I nodded agreeing with her
"Where do you go?" I asked her
"College of Southern Nevada. What about you?" She answered then asked me the same question
"University of Las Vegas" I replied
She nodded telling me she understood
"I'm assuming Liz goes there too?" She asked
"Yep" I replied
"That's cool. What are you studying?" She asked me
"Criminal Justice. I forgot to ask, do you want something to drink?" I asked suddenly with a light laugh
