Remnants Bunker

Six leaned over the command console in the center of the room with his head down, the Enclave remnants, Arcade included with Rex and ED-E among them, staring at him in various states of shock. Moreno was the first to speak up, standing up from the chair in the corner of the room. Six lifted his head to meet the gaze of the grizzled veteran and thought he could see something in the old man's eyes.

Moreno:"....So.....not only is the Enclave still running but they've been hiding in Montana since Navarro?"

Six:"Well the short answer is yes, MacArthur was just meant to be another outpost so that we could still keep an eye on the NCR and the brotherhood. However after the fall of Raven Rock and the losses sustained at Adam's what remained of our forces out east relocated there."

Judah walked up to the console and stared at the courier with a look on his face that Six couldn't really identify.

Judah:"So....Autumn got himself and all those folk killed after all huh?"

Six:"I believe you're referring to Augustus Autumn senior, unfortunately he passed away a decade after arriving at Raven Rock, his son, Colonel Augustus Autumn Jr, took command of the division sent there. And I assure you that Colonel Autumn is very much alive."

Johnson:"Hold it, a single Division? That doesn't make sense, what military strength we had after the rig blew went with Autumn senior, leaving barely a hundred soldiers at Navarro."

Six:"It was decided that most of military command and the civilian population would take permanent residence in the Chicago outpost and provide manpower to the Capitol division when it became available. Last I checked the population of the Chicago outpost was close to 11,000."

Moreno smiled at that, a real genuine smile. Not only did he find out that the Enclave was still operating but the fact that it had grown to substantial numbers. Judah was skeptical, after all he had pretty much given up hope of rejoining the ranks after the first decade of hiding in the Mojave. Johnson didn't know that to think, part of him was glad that there were more survivors but he was a little scared what it would mean for the world if the Enclave was truly back.

Six looked around at the remnants before stopping at Arcade who had his head down.

Six:" 'cade, I know what you're thinking, it's the same as Johnson but the Enclave you heard about died with that pretender Eden. The Enclave has changed, how else do you think the population got so large? We've started letting people in, recruiting wastelanders, opened trade with communities, MacArthur has made significant progress with gaining the trust of the locals, especially after taking the powerplant in Yellowstone."

Arcade:".....If what you say is true, then why are you here? Why did they send you here as a courier?"

Six:".....I can't tell you that."

Arcade glared at Six after he heard that, walking over to get in the courier's face, with a scowl on his own.

Arcade:"Bullshit! You either tell us right now or we're walking out of here!"

Six:".... I can only tell you if you're on board, and you rejoin the ranks."

Arcade looked at his "friend" with a look that screamed 'are you for real?'.

Arcade:"You expect us to-"

Moreno:"I'm in!"

Johnson:"I'm skeptical...but this seems better than going back to that cave."
