Possibly one of the happiest phases! Noodle brought Murdoc back, relieved he wasn't dead. But with his brush with death he has a new perspective on life. He said he's a changed man, and wants to improve himself. He finally claimed Noodle as his daughter and when he got back, hugged 2D instead of beating him up. All members of Gorillaz were back together and the universe was balanced, so 2D was back to his usual sweet self. They settled into their new Studio, Studio 13 and named it New Kong. After having to quarantine in their own parts of the studios, they got started on a new album, bringing in many new collaborators and Damon Albarn. Murdoc meanwhile is having a bit of a midlife crisis and reflecting on his actions.
