Threw your heart the danger lurks
A threat unseen
A threat not heard
It slithers under thin skin
It bites
And bleeds
The soul within
It doesn't tell truths
Its paranoia whispers lies
And should you waver it will strike
It hears your doubt
It feeds on fears
It sees your weakness
It breaths nightmares
It'll swallow you whole
If you can't escape
It hides away
No warnings
No signs
Be afraid to forget
Turn away and it shall teach you to fear the past.
