Chapter 1

Jeon Jungkook, an average alpha just like everybody was blessed with a handsome face and a hot body but not with money. He wasn't poor or anything but he wasn't rich either. He lived in a rented studio, ate 3 meals a day, has only 4 decent tops and bottoms that he alternates every day, uses the bus as transport and lastly works as a head mechanic of a roadside car repair shop. He pretty much lives a boring life.

Once upon a time, love was all about the heart, personality and attitude. Now, it's tainted by people desiring lust, money and power. People claim to love each other for their own selfish desires. People use the word love like it isn't a big deal. Jungkook became a victim to it.

“Jungkook-ah, you've haven't gone home for two days. Please go. Everything will be alright.” Namjoon, the owner of the Moonchild Car Repair shop told to the heartsore man who was under a hyundai for 12 minutes trying to remove a nut.

“Home, my ass. Home is where we are safe, in comfort, in peace, loved and accepted for who we are. That place I live in? It's just cement and rods. It exists for only the sole purpose of sheltering me from the rain and sun. That is it. Nothing more, nothing less.” “And what do you mean by everything will be alright. Nothing will be alright in my accursed life.”

“Will you stop talking like that? A gold digger dumped you. So what? It's not the end of the world. You made a bad judgement of him. That's it. You're better off without him.” “Someone better is there for you somewhere close by. You just have to meet him.”

“I loved him, hyung. I truly loved him.” “I've been dumped a lot of times but damnit everytime it happens it feels like the first time.” “I'm tired, hyung. Tired of surviving. Tired of loving. I don't want to do this anymore.”

“Don't want to do what?”

“Love.” “I want to stop searching for true love. I don't think it exists.”

- 2 weeks later -

“Kook-ah, it's 3am in the morning. Why did you call?”

“I want revenge, hyung.”

“You want what?”

“Revenge.”

“On Jimin?”

“Yes.”

“And how do you plan on doing that?”

“Why else do you think I called you?”

“Will you be satisfied and happy if you do that?”

“Yes.”

“How many times have you thought about this?”

“More than a thousand times.”

“Okay, then. Step one. The most important of all. Move on from him. Fully and thoroughly. The only emotion you should feel while thinking about him is anger. We don't want your feelings to resurface when you see him again.”

“That will NEVER happen.” “What about step two?”

“Get rich.”

There was only silence after this.

“If it was that easy everyone would be driving in a limousine right now.”

“Money is Jimin's weakness. Without that, you can't do shit.”

“Go back to sleep, please.”
