A.N: very short chapter.
"Sons... Your mother's journal has all the answers you need." Daniel whispered.
"Daniel stay awake!" William shouted and ran out the room.
"Mom's journal? But that's guarded off for us!" Joseph said.
"No it isn't. William will get it if you ask." Daniel whispered. The doors barged open and multiple doctors instantly flooded the room.
"Boys, we'll need you two to leave." A soft voice said and Damon clinged tighter to Daniel. Joseph just nodded and left.
The doctor moved to help Damon move onto the chair but Daniel refused to let Damon go.
"Your highness-"
"He'll stay by me." Daniel hissed.
The doctor nodded and got to work.
"How are you feeling?"
"Like I got bit by a snake." Daniel said.
The doctor nodded and wrote that down. "How long do you think you can stay awake?"
"Two more minutes." Daniel said. Yawning.
"And you've been up for four minutes so that'll be six minutes together which is really good." The doctor explained.
Damon wrapped his arms around Daniel's neck and pressed himself against Daniel's body for more warmth.
"Are you okay?" Daniel whispered.
"Don't like doctors." Damon quietly chuckled.
"How much longer?" Daniel yawned, his eyes were just barely opened.
"You can rest now, sire. Prince Damon, we will need to examine your feet." The doctor said and Daniel hugged Damon closer to himself.
"I'm not resting until I know my son is safe." Daniel sternly said.
"But sire-"
"Do it now." Daniel ordered.
"Okay, Sire." The doctor said and slowly un-bandaged Damon's feet, he hissed.
"Okay, He'll need to go to the medical area. His cuts are infected." The doctor said.
"Get what you need and bring it here. I will not let my son out of my site until I'm either asleep or dead." Daniel ordered loudly.
"Sire!" The doctor stressed.
"Do it. Now." Daniel growled.
"Fine." The doctor said. He left to get some medications for Damon.
"Damon. Listen to me. Leave now." Daniel said.
"What?" Damon asked.
"That doctor isn't the royal doctor. Your mother taught me that. Leave." Daniel said.
"Ok.. okay." Damon said and slid off Daniel.
"Tell Joseph." Daniel said and slowly slid his eyes shut.
"But Dad..." Damon said. He gasped as his eyes turned silver. A memory was shown.
He could see a beautiful woman with long brown hair and wearing silver clothes.
He got closer. She moved closer to a crystal and her hand touched it.
There was a silver explosion and the woman was sent off her feet but the silver mist stopped her from hitting the ground.
The woman panted.
She looked Damon straight in the eyes.
Damon gasped as he woke up. He was far in the forest.
"What in the kingdom's name?" He asked himself before he carried on walking.
He didn't see the faint silver mist watching him.
The mist hissed as he walked away
