Tzuyu's POV

Ugh. I lazily key in my older brother's condo unit password. He better have some good reason for making me miss that breakfast with the school meal club.

I was on my way to Chaeyoung's hotel suite when I thought of getting those delicious hash browns that my brother makes in his restaurant's breakfast menu. I did not message him beforehand knowing that he has always been committed to his line of work.

However, when I got to the place, he wasn't there and his diligent staff simply took over managing the place since he trained them for those emergency situations.

"Zero... Six..." I mumble as I press the numbers to his security lock. "One... Four... Nine... nine."

I smiled as the lock beeped in a high pitched tone and the unlocking of the door. "He really hasn't changed it."

My brother has my birthday as a common password to his accounts. I already called him out on it saying that it could be a huge security risk for him but he just shrugged it off saying that my birthday is one set of numbers that we will surely always remember.

"Oppa?" I slowly walked inside his house. I can't even remember when was the last time I was here. It was always our parents' house, his restaurant, or somewhere outside with Dahyun where we saw each other.

"Jeongyeon Oppa?" I made a beeline to his kitchen, thinking I would find him there. I paused as I couldn't help but smile with everything my eyes had been seeing from the moment I stepped inside. Wow. So organized. Everything in his unit screams his typical clean freak behavior.

I click my tongue though and mutter under my breath, feeling a bit worried now that I still can't locate him. "Where the hell is he?"

I was trying to reach him earlier via phone call but he clearly has not been picking up. Thinking that he also ignored my messages last night, I can't help but pray that nothing bad has happened to my brother.

He can't die before me. He's a much better person than who I am. I have to go first.

I walked towards his bedroom and did not even bother to knock. I just pushed the already slightly opened door. "Hmm. Now this doesn't look like him."

The bed sure looks warm. The comforter is tossed to the floor. His two white fluffy pillows are scattered on the bed. His phone is on the nightstand, giving me a good reason why he is not answering any of my calls.

"I'm sure he just sprung when he woke up to leave everything in a mess like this." But the question that has been on my mind since I left his restaurant is still ringing in my mind. Where in the world is my one and only brother?!

I let out a heavy sigh as I made a beeline back to his living room, remembering that one last place where I know he loves to hang out when there is a lot going on in his busy brain department.

I let out a huge sigh of relief after seeing that the curtain on the sliding glass door to the balcony is pulled to the side. If he is still not there, I swear I will report him as a missing person to the police.

"Oppa?" I immediately called out as soon as one of my legs stepped outside. "Jeongyeon Op—"

"Tzu?" My shoulders immediately relaxed after hearing his voice to my far right. His voice is a little bit lethargic. "What are you doing here?"

My brother is sitting on a plastic woven chair near the long bench on his spacious balcony. A tennis ball resting on his hand.

"UGH. I've been trying to reach you on your phone thinking that you've been kidnapped or something and you're just—" I paused to take in his posture and what he is doing. "You're just here basking in the morning sunlight and— AND PLAYING WITH A TENNIS BALL?!"
