With a serious look upon my face, I melted a candle wax on top of a vintage envelope and carefully placed Exether's seal on it. It was a wedding invitation I prepared for the emperor.

Months already passed and we discovered more of the emperor's dark plans. Some elves were transported outside the empire to become slaves. Some were sacrificed to the demons so they could strengthen their race. Several elves who suddenly lost their families started to protest and rebel against the emperor but their pleas about their missing loved ones only fell into deaf ears.

It also came into my attention that outside the elven kingdoms, the demons were waging war against different races and kingdoms. Not only with the elves but with humans, with the dwarves, with the merfolks, the dragons and even the gods. It was chaotic and messy out there.

Tumingin ako kay Damon na nakasandal sa gilid ng bintana habang nakahalukipkip at nakatingin sa malayo.

I would never wish for my race to suffer even further so I already took some measures and prepared something big for the Dark Emperor. At my own wedding, I am willing to risk it all—even Damon—even my greatest love.

I was being selfish but this was for the greater good.

"Damon, everything's already prepared. We only need to send this invitation to the emperor and then we can now set our plans into motion," seryosong saad ko.

Bumaling ang seryosong mga abong mata niya sa 'kin at tumango. Lumapit siya at kinuha sa mesa ang imbitasyong inihanda ko.

"Then I will ask someone to send this invitation immediately," seryosong saad niya. "Do you need anything else?"

I bit my bottom lip. I was a little guilty of being this selfish—even ruining our sacred wedding ritual. "D-Damon, you won't hold this against me, right?"

Matipid na ngumiti si Damon at umiling. He was looking at me with so much love and emotion and that was when I knew that he really loved me that deeply.

"I will never do that. You know, I can sacrifice anything for you, even my life. Kahit ano man ang mangyari, hindi kita kailanman sisisihin. Alam ko na para sa buong Elfania ang ipinaglalaban mo at ang Exether ay parte na rin ngayon ng Elfania," sagot ni Damon. "And I also agreed on creating such a dangerous weapon so I'm forever your accomplice, Sin."

Yes. His love for me was so dangerous that he even allowed the medallion to exist. Damn. Maybe we both were just so twisted to the core.

I stood from my seat and leaned my hands on the desk as I tilted my head, expecting a kiss. "Let's suffer the consequences together, my love," I muttered.

With a cool smirk, he lowered his head and possessively gave a kiss on my lips.

On the day of the wedding, many nobles from Elfania arrived. Of course, I just invited all the elves I wanted to destroy. Especially those elves who helped Arion with his dark plans. They were so greedy with power that they even joined hands with the devil.

May ilan din hari at reyna na nagmula sa ibang kaharian. One of them is the Queen of Ynaris, someone who can create illusions. And another one is King Rian, who can see right through everything, someone who knows what is real.

Petals of roses were scattered everywhere, in a maze garden. Nakahilera sa gilid ang ilang kawal ng Exether at maging ng Elfania na kasama ng emperador sa kanyang pagdating.

A loud horn of blowing trumpets echoed the whole venue as I walked down on a red carpet, wearing a pure white long gown decorated with intricate gold and flowers, matching with a gold flower crown around my braided golden hair. Damon with a genuine smile on his face, didn't dare take his eyes off of me. Dahil ang emperador ang punong pandangal sa kasal na ito ay may nakalaang trono sa kanya sa gitna ng entablado. He was seated on the best seat as he watched the whole ceremony unfold.
