Delilah pov

It's been four days since I found that letter in my Diary and I can't believe what I read. It's been all a blur between me and Logan- he avoids even looking at me- all I want to do is tell him I missed him and ask him if there are any more letters except if I tell him I have the letter he will probably ask for it back and I don't think I can handle that, so instead I made my way to the showers after a hard training session.

This time my practice hours doubled and as soon as I finished the hockey team started arriving

and changing into their gear and sometimes they would even hit the ice when I was finishing to start warming up. It became a routine they would say hi and I would say it back once I finished whatever skill I was doing. I still couldn't believe that soon I will have 'the' date with Silas.

The worst part is the fact I see him and wonder if he still meant what that letter said, but anytime I go up and talk to him he ignores me or goes away. Daisy's fine, today is my night with her so yay. What I'm still nervous about are grades. They still haven't uploaded them, so I'm taking this shower to then see them.

...

I finally finished my shower and I'm on my way to eat before I head to my dorm. I left my backpack at Emory's and then went to eat with the girls and even invited Ivy, Emory's roommate, to eat with us.

We sit at our table with our food and take out our phones to check grades.

"Ap's first," Cleo says and I nod opening my physics grade

"Yess," I whisper looking at the A plus in the system

I was really surprised with the transcript . The majority were A's except for history which was a B plus and I'm grateful but scared the B isn't going to be enough

"Four B's and Three A's," Cleo says excited

"All A's," Ivy says happy

"Two B's one C and four A's," Emory says eating the salad

"Six A's one B," I say smiling because I'm grateful it's finally over.

"To the acers," Cleo says and we all laugh at how stupid it sounded

"Do you girls want to come to the football game," Ivy asks devouring her sandwich

"When is it," I ask, reaching a redhead strand of her hair out of the mayonnaise. Gosh how I hated mayonnaise

"Friday," she says and I hum

"Yeah sure," Cleo says leaving a big pause "what color should we wear," she asks and I wonder too because I do not know the colors of Leighton

"Blue and beige," Ivy and Emory say in unison

"Help me pick an outfit out because later that day I have a date," I say drinking my coke

"Really, with who," Ivy asks eating her dinner

"Silas," I say smiling

"Hendrix," she asks and I nod

"That's so cool do you know where you are going," she asks me

"I think he's taking me out to dinner," I say smiling

"Where," Cleo asks this time

"He said something about Italian food," I say eating "Also I can't believe we start the application process for universities next week,"

"I know right I can't believe we are going to university next year it still hasn't settled in," Emory says

"What are your plans," I ask them since I guess because we just met we never talked about this. We emerge talking and I found out Ivy is going to UMiami in a full ride as a cheerleader, Emory will study business and Cleo will probably go to engineering or something like that.
