Third Person POV:

"It all started about 13 years ago.... When the King and Queen of Tamashī were still alive, both in their late 30's.... It was the sunrise, of which was the princess's birthday. Princess Red's Birthday...Though the thing about this princess was that she was like no other in this world... She looked... Human... Everyone else in this realm were hybrids of many animals and mythical creatures. While she was one of the first royal blood to be born with the looks of a normal human. Though the only thing that was not human like was a patch of black hair on her left side of her head. They only were on the front, like bangs, nothing more. During the day of the princess's birthday, her parents were getting a celebration and another surprise ready. It was Tamashī tradition that, on one's fourth birthday, they would have a celebration before a trial of worth and power. A test to see if you truly are the child of the royal family. As anxious as the highnesses were, they hoped greatly, that their daughter would succeed... The girl soon to awake by the light of the sunrise and the sounds of light knocking....

"Mmm.... Uh? Who is it?" The young princess asked with a yawn. "It is me your highness. Miss Dianne." A woman, who seems to be in her early 20's replied as she opened the door with a warm smile. The princess smiled as with sleepy eyes. Happy, yet still exhausted, to see her personal maid. Dianne was a white fox hybrid. Her tied up hair was a light grey. Her eyes were a soft yellow her face splattered with light freckles. Her skin was as white as snow. She wore the appropriate attire for maids who work for the royal family: a black dress, with rosey pink highlights, that covers her black shoes. The fox hybrid lets herself in the room and closes the door behind her, walking towards the small child. "How are you feeling this morning Ms. Roses? I hope you are excited for today." The maid, Dianne, smiled politely.

Red blinked for a few moments before realizing what she meant. She remembered, that the day they were in today was her special day. The day she has finally turned 4. The child gasped and started jumping on her bed in excitement, "Oh, oh, oh! Today is my birthday! I'm so excited! Today I get to show mommy and daddy that I can do things on my own! I get to be a big girl today." She says confidently, little did she know she was actually greatly nervous and scared.

The point of this trial was surviving in the forest behind the castle for the night. If she returns, no matter if injured or near death, she passes and proves herself that she is worthy of being royalty. If she doesn't return by midday, then she would be presumed as dead, meaning she was unworthy of being a child of the royal family.

Dianne chuckled at the girls excitement. "Of course. Happy birthday Little Red. I'm sure you'll make your mother and father proud." The child merely giggled. Dianne soon helped Red off of the bed and got her dressed into a small dress that went down, a little past her knees. The color of it was a light purple with white highlights and slight bit of golden outlines. Her hair was tied up into two pigtails, since her hair wasn't all that long, two small flowers were placed into her hair, on each side of her head. She wore plain white stockings that were below the knees and little pink shoes. She bounced up and down, loving how the maid got her dressed. Dianne always knew how to surprise Red with her amazing fashion sense. A small laugh was heard at the front of the bedroom, they turn seeing the queen. Queen Violet Roses. Queen Violet was quite tall, even without small heels. She was a demon and wolf hybrid, though she was not evil, her horns were black and lilac, her wings were hidden but were huge wings that were colored in dark purple to a light purple. Her wolf ears and tail were matching her hair, which was long and soft if you touch it. Her, purple to white, long hair reached down past her tailbone. Her dress wasn't thick and puffy, instead she wore a thin dress that covered her feet. The dress color was a light purple, highlighted in white and black. Her eyes were black with diamond shaped pupils that were purple. Her smile was warm and calming, as she looks to her excited child.
