It was dark. I heard cricket chirping, and I slowly opened my eyes, I had a horrible headache.
It took a few moments for my vision to adjust to the darkness, and then I realized I was in an odd looking forest, I stood up with a bit of dizziness. The trees looked fairly old and weathered.
I looked around the area I woke up in, and I noticed I only had a small bag. I opened the bag to find a few things: a vial with some red and green liquid, a small notebook and quill with some writing on it which said ‘ #000 - #098’ I didnt question it at the moment, and a black cloak. I picked up the cloak and felt the fabric was fluffy and warm, so I decided to put it on after inspecting it a bit further.
After putting on the cloak, I grabbed the bag with the other things in it and went off in a direction I prusimed was North. The trees were thick, so I couldn't exactly see the sky, but I noticed the moon was still right in the middle of the sky like it hadn't moved at all.
[A/n this is just a small portion of chapter one but I'll gladly add more once I get a bit of feedback even just one comment]
Remember to drink water even just a sip is fine and have a snack if your hungry don't rush yourselves :]
