August comes, the sky's so low and blue,
A sad tune plays, and it makes me feel blue too.
Bright days dim, and tears want to flow,
Long shadows cover secrets I don't know.A mix of happy and sad breezes blow,
Whispering stories of times long ago.
Summer's laughter fades, softly it goes,
Leaving memories behind, in colors that compose. But in the evening's dark, a glimmer appears,
A bit of hope comes to calm my fears.
Though August leaves, a promise is true,
Change brings fresh starts, that's what I view. The world spins, seasons dance in a line,
September arrives with skies that shine.
Tears might come with the fading light,
But strong seeds grow, making things right.I'll let the sadness mix with the day,
August's pain turns into hope's bright ray.
In changes, there's a strong, special part,
New beginnings heal and fix the heart.
