AFTER watching the match, you couldn't help but run up to them. "That was amazing!" You cheered, a bright smile forming on your lips. The duo looked at you "Ah, (Y/N)?" Nagi walks up to you "You came to watch?" He asked, you nodded at his question. "Yeah, of course. My lazy ass cousin will be the one playing after all" You answer, crossing his arms.

"Thanks for coming" Reo walked up to the both of you. "It's not a problem, Mikage-san" You forced a smile on him again. "So, have you thought of joining?" He asked, this made you raise a brow for a bit before giving him a definite answer. "No, I just think sports will interrupt my studies" He seemed surprised by your words but you didn't question it.

"But aren't you smart already?" He asked again. "Easy for you to say, I get quite distracted easily, I don't want anything extra curricular" You added. "It won't be a problem! Come on join us!" The rich heir tried to convince her once again. Knowing he's quite persisted, you give in. "Fine.. Just so I can watch over Nagi" he grinned "Glad to have you!" He then turned over to his teammates as Nagi walks up behind you.

"Are you sure?" The white haired asked. "Yeah.." You whispered to him as the team gathered around. "This will be our manager for the team!" The heir looked at you, motioning you to introduce yourself. Anxiety filled your system as the feeling of more pair of eyes looked at you. "H-Hello.. Um.. My name's (L/N).. (Y/N)... I.. um.." You couldn't help but feel nervous. Being surrounded by others was never part of your forte and you've already spent enough socializing that you barely had enough battery left.

"I hope I can be of help!" You muster out, bowing in the process. The boys looked at each other before returning the gesture "We'll look forward to work with you!" They all said unison. You stood up straight and sighed relief. When that ended you waited for Nagi so both of you can go home already.

"I thought (Y/N) isn't into sports.." Nagi comments, playing his game on his couch while (Y/N) cooks some healthy breakfast for him. "I like watching them but not playing. I have some knowledge about soccer here and there" You comment, leaning on the counter as the food cooks.
"Besides, you're playing on the team now, so I am quite curious on how this will turn out" A grin formed on your face, resting your cheek on the palm of your hand.

"But won't you joining affect your studies?" He hears you let out a sigh. "I'll just adjust my routine, besides I'm not gonna play." You answer, turning around to focus on the food that you're cooking. Tasting the food as the aroma fills the apartment, there was silence between you two, well other than his game. You thought for a moment before striking another conversation.

"To be honest, I'd feel lonely if you go to soccer" You admit, getting Nagi's attention. "Lonely? Don't you prefer being alone?" He asked, you turn around, small blush of embarrassment forming on your cheeks. "Shut up! I need a social life as well you know, I just have a social battery and a picky time to when to use it." You defend, letting out a scoff. "Is that so.." Your cousin's dry replies make you sigh and just gave up leaving him alone in the end.

The sound of your pen tapping the table filled your ears while you stare on the textbook and notebook spread out. Suddenly, your phone buzzed and thinking it's one of your closest friends, you immediately picked it up only to see an unknown number messaging you. Though, when the person introduced themselves your eyes widened.

Hey, (Y/N)! It's Reo, I got your number from Nagi, I hope you don't mind.

The message caught you off guard and you immediately sat properly, grabbing the phone and panicking. "Mikage-san?!" Screaming his last name, you stood up and started walking back and forth in your room, currently feeling a bit nervous. Not knowing if you should reply or not.

"It must be important, I'm the manager now after all." You mutter, taking a deep breath before sitting back down on your chair. Grabbing your phone and started to type out a reply.

Oh, Mikage-san, I don't mind at all! Is there something you need?

While he replies, you changed his contact name. Feeling nice, you just used his last name. When he replied, you immediately pressed on the notification.

From: Mikage-san
Just call me 'Reo' I prefer you calling me that. To answer your question I just want to say practice starts tomorrow after school so be sure to he there.

Surprised by his text, you start to think of the possible things that might happen once you start calling him by his first name.

Yes, noted. But I don't think I can call you that in public, it sounds embarrassing for me

Embarrassing? How so?

It just is, I mostly prefer calling someone by their first name unless I'm close to them or.. they're my family.

I see. Then, when we're close, can you call me by my name?

You looked at the message, surprised. "Us? Close? Is he serious?" You mutter. Letting out a sigh, "As if. I have no interest" you added before replying to him once again.

I'll think about it. I'll go ahead and go to sleep now

Alright. By the way.. If you need help with anything. Come by me, I'll help you.

Placing your phone back on the desk, you stood up and go to the kitchen to get some snacks for yourself.

"Weird.." You mutter, for someone who you barely talk with, he seems to nice offer something like that. Taking some juice from the fridge for you to drink, you let out a sigh and went back to your room.

After a bit more studying, you did your night routine and stayed up a bit more to watch some show or series as relaxation for your hard work.

"I'm tired" you sigh out before closing your laptop and fixing your things for tomorrow. Remembering Reo's words made you stop and think for a moment. "Why would he say that in the first place anyways..." you mutter before laying down on your bed.

"I'll just have to stay out of it and keep distance. I'll be fine..."
