In shadows deep, a tale unfolds,
A cry of revenge, a story untold.
Heartbeats pound with anger's fire,
Vengeance burns, a raging pyre.
Betrayal's sting, a bitter taste,
Innocence lost, a soul laid to waste.
Eyes once bright, now cold as night,
Seeking retribution, wrongs to right.
Forgotten kindness, shattered trust,
In the heart's chambers, a tempest's gust.
With every tear that falls like rain,
The thirst for revenge, an unrelenting pain.
But heed this caution, as darkness spreads,
Revenge's path, where the soul often treads,
It consumes the heart, leaves spirits scarred,
A tragic echo that lingers, hard.
