Chapter 35: It's Only Ice

Cameron started to move. She opened her eyes and looked at the ice ceiling. She remembered what had happened, how she, Loki and Korbyn had gotten captured by Elsa.

She noticed that she was wrapped in a large warm jacket with Loki on top of her. This jacket looks big enough to fit Zeb. She looked around the cage she was in and saw the lassot sitting down leaning against the wall. He looked like he was in a light sleep.

Cameron suddenly wondered if she was seeing things because she didn't think that they would find her; especially since Elsa had her. He probably got captured looking for me. Maybe I was too reckless in my decision to use my powers without Kanan's help. The cold made it difficult for words to come out so she said hoarsely and quietly, "Z- Zeb?"

Zeb's ears twitched when he heard the quiet voice. He looked over to Cameron and saw her looking at him.

She winced as she suddenly just realized her hand was in pain. She pulled her hand up to her and tried to keep it warm.

Zeb noticed this and asked, "You okay kid?"

Cameron sat up against the ice, put Loki lying on her lap, and answered, "M- my hand j- just hurts."

Hera heard them talking and woke up. She looked through the bars between the cages and questioned, "Cameron is your throat alright?"

She answered, "I just-" She started coughing, and that wasn't helping the pain. Maybe she was just getting a cold; she hoped it wasn't anything too bad. Cameron continued with what she was saying, "I j-just don't feel t-to well." She snuggled into Zeb's jacket trying to get warmth and she leaned her head on her sleeping lothcat.

Hera said, "We have to get out of here so we can get you to the Ghost. Zeb, try and bust open the cage. After all, it's just ice."

Zeb agreed with her and stood up. He looked at the door of the cage and ran straight for it with his large shoulder.
