When I got home, I changed into black leggings and a white cropped tank top. I went to my closet and grabbed a flannel that Chris bought me for my birthday like 2 years ago, in case I get cold or something. Well, technically, Chris did buy it for me, but i got to pick it out, my birthday present from him was taking me to the mall and he bought me clothes and whatever I wanted, with a limit ofc, he's not made of money, he isn't now and he wasn't then, I'm still very grateful he did that for me tho, I told him about a million times that he didn't have to do it for me, it was his money he had made at the grocery store, he didn't have to spend it on me, yet he insisted. Anyway, when I grabbed my flannel, I threw it on my bed before sitting at my vanity to touch up my makeup. Once I finished fixing my makeup, I put on my pair of Walmart Steve Maddens, which Chris also bought for me the day we went shopping 2 years ago, they're not half bad and they're way cheaper than the actual things, like why pay more money for something that looks the same but is cheaper, yk? After the game They lost, but it's okay bc Chris scored! And Nick and I swear he looked at and pointed at me before scoring, but we kind of shrugged it off. Mary-Lou, Nick, Jimmy and I went out onto the field to see Chris and Matt. When I saw Chris, I ran up to him and hugged him, he picked me up and spun me around once Me: nice score! Chris: thanks! Me: ofc We looked in each others eyes, still in each others arms, me still not on the ground Me: Chris..I love you My eyes darted back and forth between his Chris: I love you too Ly Me: like I love you Chris: wdym Me: i'm in love with you, you idiot Chris: i'm in love with you too, Ly He kissed me, putting me back on the ground so I was standing on my feet again, cupping his hands around my face Chris: can I take you on a date? Like tmrw after school? Me: ofc Chris I hugged him again before we went back up to Mary-Lou, Jimmy and Nick. Matt came running up to us and I gave him a hug Matt: I'm sweaty Me: idc, I was literally just hugging Chris He hugged me back. When we broke our hug, Chris and Matt went to take pictures with Mary-Lou and Nick came up to me Nick: I saw you kissing, did you- I nodded Me: I told him how I felt Nick: he feels the same Me: yes. He's taking me on a date after school tmrw Nick: you HAVE to give me every detail, wtf Me: I planned on it Nick: good He put his arm around me, side hugging me. Then Chris signaled for Nick to get in the pictures with them, i thought that was sweet. Nick took his arm from around me and fixed his hair, running up to the three. After taking pictures with his mom and brothers, Chris asked me to get a photo with him. I flashed him a smile and ran up to him. He put his arm around me and rested his head on mine and we smiled for the photo Mary-Lou: awww! Chris and I walked back up to our group. Once we reached them, Chris put his arm around me Chris: I kinda want ice cream rn Me: exactly what I was thinking tho
