Then into the Eggman and saw a destroyed elevator shaft so they decided to go down the rope on it

They got down to the bottom and turned on a their flashlights and were in a mineshaft
Amy shined a light on a helmet
Amy: We lost a lot of good people too
Sonic: Hey you make sure it was worth it.
Amy: Do you want the war for us
Sonic: Wow, yeah. Saving the day is what I do. And we're here to stop Eggman from performing an encore. Which way?
Amy: The command hub is down this tunnel. Hopefully the backup generator still works. With a little Luck, will be able to put up his computer, access his network, and find out what he's planning!
