in every life. || Akikasa oneshots!

"I wonder..."

Two boys were resting together on a bench under the tree durning lunch break, one had his eyes closed while the other was running his mouth. The older was talking to his junior all the plays he remembers doing, ranging from cliche romance stories to action-packed comedies. He was talking about it all like it was some big important Broadway or Hollywood type of play however, the younger knew fully well he could waltz right into the Wonder Stage and watch the said plays.

Akito oddly enjoyed Tsukasa's company, resting his head on his shoulder as he listened to him dump information on him, occasionally saying a few comments. When suddenly, Tsukasa stopped talking. He just stared at Akito with slight wide eyes as he kept his lips sealed and the redhead knew the silence all too well. He stirred as he lifted his head, looking at his senior in confusion. "...what?" Akito muttered and Tsukasa immediately smiled brightly, akito swore he could see his teeth shining with small sparkles flying out.

"So.. I was wondering..." The blonde dragged out his words as he slowly slipped his hand into Akito's, their fingers intertwining. The junior noticed it as his cheeks heated up slightly before he looked up at Tsukasa. "..what if... I dunno, heh.. we were in these plays?" Tsukasa moved his closer towards Akito's, still beaming. The redhead raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Huh? But aren't you in it?" "That's not what I meant!" Tsukasa yelled slightly, making the other flinch.

They sat there for a moment before the senior turned away slightly, chuckling. "I was thinking, like... We were the characters." The redhead still couldn't understand. He had a dumbfounded look on his face and god, tsukasa wanted to pull his cheeks right then and there. So he did. Akito let out frustrated grunts as he tried to move Tsukasa's hands away while he continued to explain. "Think of it, Aki! Imagine.. I'm the knight in shining armor! And you are the trapped damsel in distress..." He spoke loudly and in a very exaggerated way. He swung his hands as if he held a sword before he put his hand on his forehead in a dramatic manner.

Akito scoffed but smirked slightly. "If anyone's the damsel, it's you." Tsukasa scoffed as well but in a louder and more exaggerated way to show how offended he was. Before he could protest the junior's words, the bell rang, signaling the students to get back to class. Akito's smirk only grew wider while Tsukasa's face flared up in embarrassment.

They both said their goodbyes and went into their respective classes but as Akito went on his day, he couldn't help but be constantly reminded of those thoughts. The random thing that his beloved senior thought of, it was a confusing yet curious thought but in the end, all he could ask himself was..

"Does he think we're together in every universe?"
