Solon was scared when they finally arrived at the Blood Altar. The entrance was destroyed, it didn't hold its old glory and class. This didn't mean Solon couldn't remember what happened last time. He almost lost Sooha, he almost lost Heli and unknowingly he almost lost his Alpha.

Last time was hard, but this time was going to be harder. He had more people to protect this time. He wasn't more ready, but more determined. He knew how it felt to almost lose someone. He wouldn't let anyone take his precious people away. Maybe it was his wolf talking, having possesiveness over his family, it didn't matter. He was a wolf anyway.

Tahel, Luka and Enzy exchanged gazes. No one liked even one bit being here, their minds filling with the image of Khan kneeling down because of them, his pack, his people. Tahel could see Enzy shivering. Enzy was shivering because his anger was taking over him. He was tired of vampires taking his people away.

'First Giri, then almost Khan and now Daerim. I can not let that anymore. I will not let that anymore!'

"This place is practically a ruin now. Pathetic Dardan couldn't even afford to change his place?"

Jaan spoke, with digust clearly audiable to others. Noa also nodded, joining to Jaan with looking disgusted.

"This was the safest place to hide from us. No one would assume he was still here after the last time."

Heli spoke quietly, holding Sooha's hand. The memories of last time took over him as well, no matter how logical he spoke.

'I won't let him touch, TOUCH, to my princess once more!'

Khan took a step forward, then another and another.

"Plus, he needed us to know where to go when he captured my Luna. Come on, what are we waiting for? Expect someone to welcome us dearly. There were things following us till here."

"Then you still need to step down, Alpha. He is looking for you, we cannot risk you."

Khan smirked and shook his head.

"I will give him a good piece of me then, no more stepping back Mahan. My Luna is there and I am no longer letting her wait there alone."

Without further ado, Khan climbed up the stairs and others slowly followed him. Ruslan was trying his best not to show his fear, but it was smitten all over his face which made Camill to hold his shoulder.

"Hey, you are with the pack. We will be alright."

Ruslan nodded. He was trying to reassure himself the way Camill did, hearing it from someone else was more effective indeed.

Jiro was the last one climbing the stairs. His eyes were fixed on something moving outside, something resembling a shadow which caused a strong wind that slammed the entrance door behind them. Jiro was startled with the shadow moving towards the Altar's old big hall.

"Guys! There is something moving to the center!"

Khan heard Jiro's voice and turned his back immediately swinging his claw to whatever was coming. He knew the welcome party would be sneaky, so he had already transformed. He was right, his claw hit a black shadow which then rapidly turned into a tactable body. After his first blow, he felt Mahan and Louis pulling him to a side. One was in front of the Alpha and the other was taking care of the back for other possible attacks.

"Well... Here you are. The Lycantrope. We have been waiting for you for a while now. We were starting to think that your 'mate' didn't matter to you."

Khan tried to keep his silence, but it was hard. How dare would they even take his Luna's status for granted!
