STARTING JUNIOR YEAR, Maeve Jang did not expect to discover that her childhood best friend would be the vigilante that the New York Police Department was after. She was soon caught in the whirlpool of the sticky webs of Peter Parker, there was no way of escaping from the grasp of his fingers. All Maeve wanted to do was to focus on her studies whilst trying to keep herself up-float from the never-ending sea of feelings for Peter that she hoarded inside of her heart.
What a cliche, for one to fall for their best friend. Maeve knew of the consequences, she was even warned of them.
He'll break your heart. His actions will be the death of you. Run before you are far too deep in.
But it was too late, he wrapped around her whole being as if he were vines, never letting go, the hold that he had on her grew tighter over time. Peter had no idea how much power he has over Maeve. If he asked her to jump, she would respond with how high. Her heart sat in the palm of his hands, in just a single move, he could easily crush the fragile muscle and break it. She was doomed and there was no saving her, Maeve was afraid of how would become of her.
Will Peter Parker be the death of her or would he be the one to catch her before she gets enveloped by the devastating aftermath of his actions?
