1•"Calm" morning

I began to stir from my sleep due to the sounds of the rain hitting my closed window, along with the screams and shouts of people down below who were unlucky enough to not make it inside a shelter to avoid the beginnings of the boiling rain

A groan escaped my lips as I sat up in bed.Rubbing the tired from my eyes,I let out a yawn

My attention is suddenly taken as the last bits of sleep have left me.I notice one of Darius' little abominations on my nightstand, it's goopy hands holding a note

Turning to sit facing the nightstand, I gently took the note from the small abomination giving it a small pat on the head before unfolding the note

"Hmm, I wonder what it could be this time" I said out loud to myself as I stood from the bed, stepping into a pair of slippers

Walking over to my closet i stretched my back,arms reaching above my head,doing so made a satisfying pop.i then opened the doors to the closet,reaching in and taking out my uniform.I held it out, admiring the abomination colour of the loose sleeves and the pants

I placed the hanger on a peg on the inside of the closest door, them grabbed a pair of white wrist gloves from the shelf

"What am I missing.." My hand now resting on my chin, pretending to think for a moment

A small noise came from the ceiling of my room, followed by the sound of small feet running inside the walls

"guess I've got everything I need, better get ready now" I spoke, my voice obviously loud enough for anything else in the room, or the walls to hear clearly. I picked up the hanger with my uniform and draped it over my arm along with the gloves

As I started walking the the door to my bathroom the patter of small feet hitting wood grew louder, and louder until I felt something jump from the floor onto my shoulder

"

Hello honey,You rest well?"I spoke, not moving my head from its forward potion as I spoke to the animal as if it could understand my words and respond back the same

Honey.My beloved rat. I had found the poor thing injured while I was on a training mission with my fellow coven replacements

Carefully I removed her from my shoulder and placed her on the bathroom counter,next to a small shallow dish of water

"Let's get this over with" I said, letting out a small chuckle. Titan I didn't wanna go to school

I had just finished preparing myself for school when the quiet peace was broken with chaotic yelling and arguing

I rolled my eyes with a sigh.what children, arguing this early when there is things to get done

I picked up honey as I left the bathroom, placing her on my shoulder as I sped walked to the coat rack that sat by the door out,where my cloak and satchel rested.Picking them both up I waved by to the small abomination, turning back to the door I let out a sigh before fixing my posture and exiting the room

The day couldn't end any faster.
