Tw: Violence, death.

~The donor~

I relished in the silence.

Not peaceful silence.

The kind of silence that comes after someone takes their final breath.

The type of silence that comes after the final tree in the forest falls.

The sort of silence that carries the heavy weight of death.

I opened my eyes and stepped over the bodies of the clones I had just killed, their corpses still warm.

I paused as I felt anguish, wondering if I had accidentally left one of them alive.

But no, it was something through the Force.

It was true sorrow, true pain, and it made my heart leap with joy.

It had been such a long time since I'd felt something so strong, and it was such a terrible feeling.

I loved it.

"Who is sending out their pain?" I whispered to myself, feeling out with the Force.

It intensified, and it sent a thrill through me.

I had to find them.

I wanted it.

I wanted their agony.

I wanted their pain.

I sighed and shook myself out of it and resumed my task, rummaging through the pocket of one of the clones. I pulled out the image of me that had been caught on the security footage ans tucked it into my own pocket.

Another shockwave of the melancholy shot through me, making my knees weak.

Oh, how I wanted it.

I wanted to take every drop of their agony in my system, to fuel me and my powers.

But who were they?

And why was I somehow connected to them?

I took a breath to clear my head and vowed to myself that I would find whoever it was, and I would make them feel that way forever, and I would use their anguish to give the dark side I used power.

"There she is!" A clone screamed, and his fellow soldiers ran at me, blasters rapidly shooting at me.

I whipped my lightsaber out of its sheath at my waist and made red circles of light in front of my face as I protected myself from the attacks.

I swiftly slaughtered them all.

Another wave of the emotional turmoil hit me, and I tripped over one of the bodies.

I would find them.

And I would take them.

And I would make them feel this way forever.

And my powers would flourish off this new source of darkness.

~Amita~

Lily was going to be a problem.

She always tracked me down in the end, and even though I had always managed to get away, I had a feeling this time would be different. Tech said he wouldn't tell her where I was as long as I didn't tell Hunter that he had disappeared, but I had no doubt that Lily would manage to find me anyways.

I could face the problem... or I could avoid the issue and hope it never caught up to me.

I made my decision.

"Amita, have you heard a word I've said?" Hunter demanded, snapping his fingers in front of my face.

"What? Of course!" I nodded.

"Then what was I just saying?" Hunter crossed his arms.

"Um," I hesitated. "How my insubordination won't be tolerated by the Empire?"

Hunter faltered. "Lucky guess."

"Hey, um," I bit my lip. "Do you remember when Rex and Echo tried to rescue me?"

I hadn't told them Emilia had been there, not wanting to blow her cover.

"Which time?" Crosshair dryly asked.

"Last week?" I reminded them.

"What about it?" Hunter asked.

"You... you remember when Tech vanished and no one could find him?" I asked, dropping the volume of my voice.

"Yeah, what about it?" Hunter hummed.

"Don't you find it a bit suspicious?" I whispered.

"I guess?" Hunter shrugged. "I trust him more than you though. It's fine."

I sighed as I got up to go to my room.

As soon as I had left their room, I was slammed against the wall, goggles flashing in my vision.

"Tech! What the kark?" I exclaimed.

"I told you not to mention it to them!" Tech hissed.

I pushed him away. "Well she's gonna find me anyway! I don't care if it's you who tells her!"

"Very well," Tech smiled and pressed something on his vambrace. "The message has been delivered."

Lily was coming.

Hehehe.
