"Do you think she'll be surprised?" I questioned, facing Wrecker.

"I hope so!" He beamed enthusiastically. "We did all this for her, she better appreciate it!"

"Tech and Amita have returned," Rex said. He smiled at us, before glancing behind him. "Omega, come on out."

Omega shyly peeked out from behind a corner. "H-Hunter? Wrecker? Crosshair?"

"Hey, kid," I said softly.

Omega dashed out and wrapped her arms around my hips, squeezing tightly. She then hugged Crosshair and Wrecker, just as happily. "I missed you! Rex said you were out on a mission, but you were gone a long time. I thought you'd never come back."

"Hey, we'll always come back," Crosshair said and ruffled her hair fondly. "You know that, right?"

"Of course!" Omega chirped.

Tech walked into the room and spread his arms. "Omega, aren't you going to hug me too?"

Omega squealed and sprinted to him, launching herself into his arms. Amita slowly stepped into the room behind him and stared down at the floor.

"Is she okay?" Wrecker worriedly whispered to Tech.

"She has a bit of a headache," Tech quietly replied. "I think she slept at an awkward angle. Plus, she saw Ahsoka die, which is most likely adding to her troubles."

Rex bowed his head and wiped at his eyes. "We'll miss her. I know I will, at least."

"We'll all miss her," I agreed, patting his back.

"We left the Empire!" Wrecker excitedly announced to Amita. "We joined the Rebellion, and Omega was here! Isn't this great?"

Amita's head bobbed as she nodded. "Yes. It's great."

"You going to be okay?" Rex placed a hand on her shoulder and looked at her with soft eyes.

"Yeah." Amita finally looked up at him and smiled weakly. "I've just been thinking."

"About?" Rex prompted.

Amita cocked her head. "I think the better question is what you've been thinking about."

"Porgy." Wrecker pointed at the small animal, jumping in the corner. "I've been watchin' him for a while now."

"I meant," Amita rubbed at her head, "how you left the Empire."

"Yeah, we're pretty proud of ourselves," I admitted. "As soon as they found us they took our chips out."

"Order sixty-six really messed with you boys," Rex commented.

"You're all traitors. Aru'e," she muttered. Amita released several rapid shots at them from the blaster she snatched from Tech's waist. "Good soldiers follow orders."
