"What do you want from me exactly?" I asked. "What do you mean?" he asked. "The things you're doing. Why are you doing them?" I asked. "Because I hate your kingdom." he answered. " What does hurting me have to do with destroying my kingdom? " I asked. He had no answer. "There, you don't have answer because it doesn't affect my kingdom. It affects me and only me and now your mother is forcing me to sleep with you. What type of sick twisted game is this Zaki?" I asked. He looked shocked and confused. "I may hate you and do all these things to you but I 'd never touch you like that or in that way without your permission. I respect your space." he answered. "Then act like it, you haven't been acting like it." I blurted. He was silent. "I'm sorry, I'll give you some space." he said before leaving. Great. I needed to be alone.
I changed my clothes and went downstairs. I had to be the perfect daughter in law. I didn't really care about all that nonsense but they were making me care when I didn't want to.
Zaid had come to see at the worst possible time. "Hey Zaid." I said. "Can I
talk to you? In private." asked Zaid looking more serious then ever. I probably shouldn't have phoned him that day. "Yeah sure." I answered. We went to the balcony. "So Sidra, How are you doing?" he asked. "Can we please not talk about that? I'm fine also." I answered. "You sure?" he asked. I didn't want to worry him. "I'm fine now." I answered. "How's Ishnaya and Ishan?" I asked. "Fine, Mom misses you." he answered. I gave a small smile. "Yeah I miss you guys a lot." I replied. "I have to go, I'm training the guys. " he said lowly. I escorted him to the door. I was going to be bored after that plus my hand was bandaged and hurt. I was going to be the lazy daughter in law.
I don't care anymore. "Where is Zaki?" asked his mother. "I don't know." I answered. "He's gone for training." said Anjali. Oh, I didn't care. I spent the next hours listening to music and soke alone time. I've been alone my whole life so it wasn't that bad. I looked outside the window and saw Zaki, Zaid, Ishan, Vijay and Zaim coming to the palace. It was shocking how they got along. I closed my window and went downstairs. "Sidra!" said Anjali.
"What?" I asked. "Are you going to the ball?" she asked. What ball now? These people love having events. "I didn't get an invitation." I said. "Because I got it." said Zaki. "It's for Kings and Queens." said Zaid. Oh I see. "I have your invitation." said Zaki. So I was invited. Oh gosh. I hate social events. I don't know how to talk to anyone. Its just weird.
