Interviews With Mcyt Fanfic Writers

I'm sure almost all of you have heard of the popular mcyt fanfic writer Fanfic or Kiara. They make a lot of new ships such as Impulse x Skizz, Olix (Oli x Pix), and Solidaridubs (Solidarity x Bdubs). At least those are my personal favorites :D

They have a lot of fanfics with the mcyt gang including some of my favorites Welcome To The Circus, Fight or Flight, and KRYO.

They joined 2 years ago and also write about Warrior Cats and The Owl House a bit.

Question 1: How'd you stumble across mcyt and start writing? I remember stumbling across Scott's ESMP S1 POV and going 'huh, this looks cool' then I watched adjacent series like the life series and slowly started Hermitcraft. And then I just...started writing fics about it. I did the same with all my interests

Question 2: Do you ever think of doing something else? Maybe writing original stories or maybe even stepping away from Wattpad and moving on with your life? I mean I would like to write my own stories at some point but a lot of my closest friends are on Wattpad so unless like all of y'all left I don't think I'd leave. I'll probably always write fanfiction tbh

Question 3: If you're comfortable with it, would you mind telling me a bit about your home life? Do you enjoy time with your family or is it hard? Most of the time my family are pretty cool :D and my parents know about the fics. They think I'm great at writing but aren't too bothered about the fics or what's in them :D

Question 4: Do you share the fact that you're on Wattpad in your life, such as at school, or do you keep it under wraps? I share it with some close friends but I rarely give away my username and most people don't know lol

Question 5: Any plans for the future with your writing? Maybe any upcoming stories? Uh- not really lol. I tend to make things on an impulse so I don't really plan much ahead of time, so nothing to share sadly :D

Question 6: Are there any big mistakes that you regret in your life or anything you wish you can go back and change? Probably befriending my toxic ex best friend. She was manipulative, transphobic/homophobic/antisemite, racist, and treated me like crap.

Question 7: Are you facing any big struggles in your life right now? You don't have to share any specifics if you do not feel comfortable with it. Everything's actually pretty great right now. I haven't seen my ex friend in nearly a year as she left our school when I stopped being friends with her.

Question 8: What was your reaction when you gained 100 followers and your fanfics started to take off? I was- really surprised to be honest. I never really thought anyone would like my silly little stories, but I'm glad so many people do :D

Question 9: How do you come up with new ships such as Solidaridubs? I'll just like focus on a specific moment between two people and like make up interactions or scenarios outside of that and then boom new ship :D
