Shido and Tohka arrived at school as usual, with Kurumi catching them by surprise alongside Origami. Soon after, Shido had then received a text from Kotori, instructing him to visit the lab for something important. During lunch, Tohka was left alone in the classroom waiting for Shido to come back to eat lunch with her.
Meanwhile Shido, Rein, and Kotori gathered in a dimly lit room to watch a disturbing video.
The video played as it depicted Kurumi trapped in a dark alley, surrounded by Origami and other AST members. Mana, wearing a revealing armor of the AST corporation was wielding energy beams, Kurumi had seemed to tried to start a conversation up with the group of girls however without a moment notice, She was ruthlessly shot six times in the chest by Mana, causing her to collapse in a pool of blood. To escalate the brutality, Mana drew an energy blade and decapitated Kurumi. Watching the video made Shido grip the edge of his chair with conflicted feelings, He was unable to do anything but release a sigh.
The incident left Shido pondering how Mana could take someone's life. However, he couldn't ignore his own action from not even a few days ago, He had the realization that he would be a hypocrite to condemn her actions outright.

"H-Help! Someone?!" The person head was then sliced clean off with a single strike of Shido dagger.

Shido looked away which was noticed by Kotori, "Shido? You dont have to watch you know..." She says softly knowing that seeing something that bloody from someone who is suppose to be close to you would obviously leave a mark on a pure pervy boy like Shido....

Shido asked as he sat up from the chair within the dark chambers that is called the backroom of the lab, Shido face was that of a blank expression, Only reason he had looked away from the bloody scene was for the reason that he did not feel anything that would make him sick or feel hate for watching Mana or Kurumi killing which did not sit right for him, Shido hates killing and blood but... Too survive, You must kill if you do not want to be killed. Too survive, You must do anything you can to win and live for another day. This was the current mindset of Shido who did not feel any negative emotions towards the dark spirit, Kurumi and the spirit killer, Mana.
In the mind of his sister, Kotori... She had the belief that her dear brother could never be like those two women who kill, Even if he had, she would believe or at least be extremely bias and pray that Shido would have completely no other choice but to be force to partake in such horrendous actions.
